I didn't say they don't exist, I said the original purpose behind the system supporting marriage doesn't.

Two thirds of married couples have children, that's double the amount that don't, and yet you're trying to say they don't even exist? that doesn't make any sense at all.

What exactly is being failed?

Don't know about that, but the video was NOT taken down. It was simply made private, which explains why I couldn't see it on my favorites list.

And I see Baha had beat me to finding it again.

What about the video Piglets made where he read a story he wrote about him?

I think it was called The Fall of Spartan Ken

So I can no longer find the video on my favorites, I believe the video was either deleted or made private, probably the former. If no one has the original video saved, I suggest you screen cap my first post as it contains the legitimate lyrics to this beautiful work of music.

Considering almost 1/3 of married couples don't have a child, the original purpose you are bringing up now is practically non-existent. Especially when the system is showing support for that 1/3 and is steadily rising. I'm not saying the nuclear family is bad, but that time is coming to a close. Keep in mind that this has been on the rise since the end of the 50's "Traditional America".

And the purpose for strengthening that bond is to help with raising children. If you don't want children then marriage isn't for you, use a different method for strengthening your relationship instead of trying to force a system to cater to a group of people that it was never meant to cater to.

One order was the Evangelion Blu-ray box set which totaled to $350, that was for me. But I also bought my brother as a double Christmas/B-Day present the Archives of Evangelion DVD box set which is $180. So the total including shipping was around $550. I could explain to you the reasons why it's so high, but it all boils down to: Japans way of pricing media is vastly different from the US.

PayPal's pretty chill about reversing orders, which is good. Just make a fuss about how it wasn't authorized and you're concerned your information being leaked was a result of their poor security if you want to be sure it'll get done fast.

Also, $550 in anime? Why?

Well after talking in chats and on the phone from every possible group except CDJapan because I don't speak Nip I managed to resolve almost everything (except the issue with CD Japan).

I contacted my bank account and they said everything on the account side was fine, and that they currently have no requests from Paypal whatsoever. However I did contact Paypal just to be on the safe side and they saw the pending transaction and put a fraud claim on it, so if $300 ever is taken out of my account it will be immediately sent back and denied. As soon as that is squared away I'm going to just shut down the account since I never use Paypal for anything.

When contacting Newegg the representative politely told me this happens normally and just follow the instructions when an order is declined instead of freaking out and just canceling an order. I went ahead and ordered the last of my parts and sure enough it went through, my account is now showing my orders went through. The only issue left over is CDJapan still isn't showing my transactions from two weeks ago, but Bank of America is working on it, in the mean time, I'm just left with subtracting $540 from my current balance to find out my real total.

Funnily enough, because of my own over reaction and continual reorders and canceling, I have like 12 or so processing transactions from Newegg half of which are attempted and payments and their reversals. It's show the reversals first so now my currently processing transactions looks insane lol.

Oh? from my experience with paypal, when they see something sketchy they lock your account and withhold your funds for 6 months.

It's the first thing I have planned tomorrow. Also, I did switch my password on Paypal, but after I get that transaction removed I'm just going to ask them to shut down the account, there's no sense in keeping it open for more shit like this to happen. I can't even remember why I made one in the first place.

You have to get on the phone and fix that shit. Scream at the guys if you have to.

Also, switch your password on Paypal.

PC parts can wait (although I'm very frustrated I have too after saving for months on end for it). However I will slap Paypal around like an abusive husband if they don't fix this shit tomorrow.

Go down there and slap them around

So when attempting to order all my PC parts, what happened can only be described as a cluster fuck.

1. The order of all items was split into four smaller orders, because Newegg doesn't carry all the parts with them, some come from a third party seller which has different shipping options, the bulk of the items did end up in one order with the total equaling about 1400 dollars.

2. Because this would be the first time in my bank account history making an order over 1000 dollars, BoA online immediately declined the first transaction but let the other three go through because they were all significantly smaller amounts (this is ignoring the fact that I had temporarily removed any alerts because I suspected this very thing would happen).

3. After going to my BoA account and verifying everything is fine, I spent the next 45 minutes trying to get Newegg to reattempt the transaction, only to have it declined once again because it's still too scary of a transaction for BoA. I have decided to cancel that specific order until my BoA account goes back to normal, in which case, I'll just buy the remaining parts in increments no greater than 600 dollars since the most expensive item breaks 500.

4. Back when I ordered NGE on Blu-ray, CDJapan has a nasty habit of having their orders disappear off my bank account for a solid month or two, so for the past two weeks, my account is showing I have about 550 dollars more than what I really have because it currently isn't showing my purchase from CDJapan.

5. Lastly, someone or something has gotten into my Paypal and requested 300 dollars be transferred into my Paypal account from my bank account, and their customer service is just as shitty as BoA, I wont be able to call either until tomorrow. Also unlike BoA which has a seizure and immediately shuts down the transaction it freaks out over, Paypal sees suspicious activity and just lets it continue and only messages me that it's happening. I have until Friday to get it removed or I'm fucked six ways since Sunday. This is ignoring the fact that I removed my bank account information from my Paypal account months ago, there's no way it should be able to have the power still.

So right now I'm kind of left with a mess and no way to clean it up. AMA I guess.

Considering the fact that Verbatim was the whole reason for that thread, he really shouldn't have had that much free reign over the thread as he did. Regardless of the mods saying they aren't giving him special treatment, there's no reason to allow him to go into the thread and post shit that basically boils down to "Hurr he deserved it" that's uncalled for.

Bans shouldn't be discussed at all because like in this situation it leaves the other person involved with a sense that they've "won" because the other user is banned. I doubt Kupo really gives a shit, but allowing comments like that is just flat out wrong.

I'm pretty sure that thread was going to be fine

I'll be using the visual ports solely from the GPU after the initial test run. So as long as the VGA port works only once when I try to power the machine without the GPU installed, I wont really notice if it will fail afterwards.

Be careful with the motherboard, I bought one of that range last month, putting together my own computer too, but the vga port doesn't work. Apparently it's a problem with the manafacturer, sometimes they work sometimes they don't.

Mostly gaming but I may want to record gameplay or make videos which is why some of the choices seem a bit overkill.

What is the purpose of the computer you are building? What wil it be used for<

My taxes came back so I now have the money I need to finally order my parts. Before I go and make myself almost broke, I would like someone to double check the parts I picked out (since they changed a bit from when I last made this thread) and see if they will all play nice together and work fine.

What Taco Bell are you people going to that forces you shit lava? I've been going to Taco Bell for years and I've never encountered this problem and I've had almost everything on their menu including their limited tome offers. Maybe it's because I've been shitting blood from so much Chipotle that I've made a colon of steel in my body.

If I'm talking to only one person, they already know I'm just responding to them. There's no reason to have them reread their own post, but I'm not going to reply without it so that they know where I'm at in the discussion. It's like keeping a tab on where the discussion is currently at without really needing it. Just a safety measure.

Why the heck do you post your messages above the quotes?

It just looks wrong.
