>This is a thing >People actually do this >This is not a troll >There is probably a private community somewhere on the internet dedicated to discussing this

You will have to link me the thread because you get see intentions or implied hostility based on how you type something. Calling someone a racist isn't necessarily being hostile. You're going to get that with every forum, that's just human interpretation on what is supposed to be standard. One of the smaller forums I visit/lurk is a forum for discussion on Evangelion. It's a niche forum with an ever so small fnabase yet their forum has the same moderation problem you are facing. Just today I got a thread locked there because of an "attitude problem". Rules can be set in stone but their interpretation can be up for debate. When you're posting on the internet and not talking face to face, it's hard to tell what exactly the other person is really thinking because you can't see any sort of cues for it, you're just reading text on a screen. TL;DR: Human error fucks things up. I have a feeling that explanation would differ by each mod. Sometimes posts are edited, sometimes there's a ban involved, and often things are just ignored unless something is as forward as "fuck you". You guys frequently ignore intent over message. Charlie attacked the guy's character and you don't care, but he responds in kind and gets a ban. It's just a day, no big deal, but still, no need to be quippy when it's obvious moderation is anything but standardized.

That gets you banned? I mean, if someone calls you something and you respond with the implied same level of hostility, it's pretty stupid to only ban one party. I think you told someone to go fuck themselves for implying you're racist.

The comment on low standards was meant for Verbatim, with his attitude I feel he has a right to be more picky.

That's some pretty low standards for an individual like you tbh fam. anyone who could put up with my shit tbh Sometimes it's better to have someone who might not have the same interests. Gets you to try new things, gets you out of your comfort zone (I know I'm the last person that should be making this claim). Because like, beyond being able to have a civil conversation, isn't there certain interests you should share with a person you date? OT: I dunno, over the years my biggest requirement basically boiled down to: No fatties and I feel I was being reasonable in bending the curve as to what counted as "overweight" considering the fact I myself am not really fat, I certainly ain't not body builder either. However, recent events in the last two and a half months or so has scrambled my viewpoint like eggs over what I want/look for in a partner, so I guess in reference to my previous comment about getting out of your comfort zone, I feel I'm being thrown out the window by force (not that in this situation it's a bad thing).

So I just finished my brand new build, but one thing is driving me crazy. The BD drive and getting its firmware update. I need to install the latest firmware (which for this model was four years ago) in order to play movies on the computer, but as soon as I run the setup, nothing happens. The icon appears for a split second on the task bar then disappears and nothing continues to happen.
I don't want to have to pay money for software that I should have gotten for free on the disc but the installer refuses to open up. I don't know what to do.

Finally, someone who doesn't work at a Canadian university. If gottwald hasn't been proven guilty of rape, then what is the big deal? A court can't just say "o we think she might have been raped lol so we'll let her break her contract."

Oh you poor soul, you have no idea about my views on anybody south of Central America. What I gather, basically, is that I'm racist if I'm not a raging weeaboo. Why not nuke the US? I view the world as degenerate. Japan happens to have a high concentration of degeneracy.
But yeah, the US is up there. I'd even say way up there.

Councilors are good for that sort of thing. You literally just pay them to listen to you and they offer advice, or not, depends on what you want. They have no other purpose then to listen and maybe provide feedback. Sometimes you don't want or even need communication from a listeners part. A little over a year ago some girl fucked me up bad so I went to a councilor for a few months and just having her listen to my melodrama helped me move on and do better in my life. ...or it's just really hard for me. The type of help I'm talking about is actually going and telling someone that I feel really sad, and... I don't know, just upset all the time. Like someone could offer their ear but I won't take them up on it even if I need it.

That's a very accurate number fam. Do you view the US as degenerate? 2. Japan needs to be nuked seventeen quadrillion times.

Yeah, I like how Verb can get away with posting blatant racist shit on Serious and nothing happens. He downright called the Japanese savages and said they needed a third nuke. From what I gathered that's supposed to be okay here on The Flood but not as lax on Serious.

This. Or something along the lines of "The nicest wall in all of the country....my wall." The single greatest wall-- and I mean the greatest wall-- that ever has, or will ever, exist and not a single other idea will ever top this wonderful wall.

He might actually support the adopting of a cat since ya know, raising a child is apparently a sin to the eyes of the all knowing God: Logic. Verbatim wouldn't have a cat

I wasn't here for all the drama he caused so why should it affect me? If someone has done nothing to wrong me and I haven't seen them do anything to lower my opinion of them, why should I have a low opinion of them? >I don't have a bad opinion of someone cause they did nothing wrong to me personally.
This is pretty autistic.
