Serious / Re: If I have to end up picking between Trump and Clinton
« on: March 18, 2016, 01:43:32 PM »
People are afraid of that which they don't support, and that's okay. When they see that bithing happens and everything will go on as it had, they'll understand that Hitler incarnate hasn't came yet, and being humbled will do them some good.

As I stated in a previous thread, this is UKIP all over again. You throw the nastiest shit you can in hopes of stopping what you hate but the momentum has built up too much. The only thing shouting "Racist!" and "Sexist!" is doing is shooting yourselves in the foot. Instead of preaching the tolerance, understanding, and morality you claim your object of criticism doesn't have, you throw that away and stoop to the same level. And it's for folly, you want people to "wake up" and come around to what you claim is more sensible, but that will never happen wgen you do exactly what you insult your opposition for.

Case in point; it's supposedly perfectly acceptable for Latino voters to vote for a Latino candidate because of just that fact, shouting "Racist" at the white vote for doing the same thing isn't going to make people change their minds any time soon. Don't like rhetoric? Then don't use it yourself. and there's a post right there on the previous page that's nothing but rhetoric, and no, it's legitimate just because it's anti-Trump. Once again, I think Trump ate too much bath salts and now thinks he can run a country, but the opposition to him is only creating a spiteful nature from his support because of how they've been trying to "Swing them around" for years.

You never play Halo with me!

Only for the time being. Like Bungie, I'm just visiting. I saw Pip's thread. Smh that he actually made that. Really put me under a terrible light.

Anyway, I hear that the SJW's got their own site so I came to check this thread out and see what Sep7 says.

I never really got a definitive answer, I'd hope they do. They openly flirted with me and said so but that's before I seriously started crushing over them and telling them so.

Do they like you back?

Ehhh, my situation is a bit more complicated. It's just a crush I have but they know it and I trust them. I just feel awkward talking to them because I'm afraid of screwing up or looking like an idiot.

You shouldn't feel uncomfortable texting someone. Not unless you're Roman, or flooding them with messages and expecting an instant reply (like Roman).

I don't like starting conversations. I prefer to have them start it so I'm at ease knowing everything is okay. But I know they're very busy right now.

Eh, that's kinda a time to ask what's up unless you're confident about the situation.

7+ days?

You should be able to go several days or MORE with no texting between you and feel fine about it.

The grass is always greener on the other side. However I will say I've gotten farther with males than I ever have with females. I was able to at least tell a guy I had a crush on him, albeit it wasn't face to face (if it was, I probably would be stuck in the same situation I've been stuck on with girls).

I'm done strauight up going to men.

I've never been to a party tbh fam. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do at one. Pic related, it would be me at a party unless it was with a group of like three or four people I already know.

Party?

It was something about some girl in a car with a knife, and talking about how some guy insulted her or something. I got incredibly bored reading afterwards.

Too late to read the op, did loaf get Icy'd?

Birth control is not a 100% guarantee success. And potential is entirely grey as far as morality goes. The potential life may have been the next Einstein, or the next Hitler. You shouldn't focus on what if's for a group of cells that are half the size of an ant.

(Exceptions noted) - If she didn't want to have a child in the first place, steps should've been taken to prevent it, such as birth control. The stage of Development is irrelevant as it is "still a waste of Human potential", I never said it was alive.
Wasting human life for the sake of "rights", is petty.

I have become one with the heat. I no longer require walking over to my mom's house to get a solid five hours of sleep before the boss Mouse requires me for 10 hours of manual labor. I still require my Stitch plush to remain off the bed in order to maximize cool mattress zones, this however drops my mood as I don't have a soft comfort object for sleeping.

I am still trying to learn my cat's technique and not giving a shit in these trying times.

Rights aren't petty. And this ventures into the debate on whether that form of life in the beginning of its development is considered worthy of its right to live. Unfortunately for your standpoint, not many who aren't religious radicals claim that it is worthy.

Human life shouldn't be wasted because of her "petty" rights.

But how would we know? Unless they write a prenup (which let's be honest, is just silly), it will literally turn into a "he said, she said" argument. Who wins in that situation?

Then that would be an exception. Durrrr.

Circumstances like that would be taken into account.

That train of thought can lead to a lot of unfair problems against the male and you know it. What if they both consent to not having a child and use a condom but she pins it without him knowing? As far as your concerned, "Lol too bad deal with YOUR consequences!" even if it isn't his fault? That's a crock of shit.

If the dad doesn't want the kid, too bad--it's not up to him.
