Mordred is just an idiot. He'll go take his shit in the litter box and as soon as he's done dropping his lumps, he jumps out and scratches the ground around the box instead of the litter inside. My cat before he died lived like a fucking king. He didn't want anyone or anything to ever bother him, didn't care for attention, if he wanted food he would just come up to you and tap you on the leg and look at you until you give him what he wants. He would then purr while he ate. He was also a troll. I'd clean his litter box and by the time I was taking it down to throw his waste in the dumpster, he took another dump right when I got back, meaning I'd have to clean his shit again.

He's actually my brother's cat but he's in Cincinnati for a year. I promised I'd take care of him until he comes back because handling two animals is just too much for me, Mordred is a bumbling idiot so he already needs more attention than a normal cat. I know that taking care of a cat means giving them just as much love and affection as feeding them and cleaning up after them, but two is just exhausting, especially when they're so different in behavior. :/
That sucks man. Really prevents you from chilling with your cat.

Lol I remember when the first movie came out Max got so butt hurt about it just existing. He automatically claimed that Christians weren't comfortable with their own religion and that they had to make a movie to confirm their own faith. He made the same comment when heaven Is For Real came out also, like not a single Christian movie can come out without it somehow bugging him.

It's not that bad really, it's mostly due to the fact that it's condensing a lot of Instrumentality "in the mind" character growth with in-universe mechanics so a lot of the shit that's thrown on screen doesn't really mean anything, it's just there to look important. Is it really something people don't understand? Or is this one of the few benefits of being an art major?

I dunno, how practical was it to give Unit 01 a horn when Shinji never stabs anything with it? Or painting all the Eva's some really off-military color? Can you imagine all the third world paint NERV must of bought to keep Unit 01 purple? I suppose.. but how practical is it really to go out of their way to make artificial teeth if the mouth was never meant to open?

We have zero knowledge of the development process behind Q immediately after 2.0 was released (due to the fact we lack a CRC for Q). When reading the booklet that came with Q, the story direction for Q was planned all along from the beginning supposedly so there's still a good reason for keeping the preview instead of writing it off as retconned. It's probably just a design/art choice than anything. AT the end of Q we saw Eva Unit 08+02, but I doubt that's what the final design of the unit is going to look like. Also, why was 08's head redesigned from the preview to the dumb Gears Locust helmet it ended up with?

Unit 00 was a prototype, it make look like a standard Eva but in terms of mechanics it barely fits the description. It also goes berserk and moans a bit in 1.0 and NGE. Ritsuko and the rest of the NERV staff responsible for the upkeep of the Evas probably thought the containment they had was sufficient enough for Unit 01 but Gendo and Fuyutsuki knew the importance of having Unit 01 go berserk from time to time. Also for the scene of Unit 03, that was completely redone from NGE scene where Unit 01 just smashed the entry plug in its hand it was mostly a design choice to show just how dark the scene was. Other Evas don't necessarily have to go berserk in order to have their mouths open or vice versa. For Unit 02 in NGE, it kind of went "berserk" when it's eyes split apart and showed four red ones, we didn't know it even had a mouth until EoE when it was completely ripped apart and went berserk again, only it's mouth opening was probably due more to being ripped alive. In 2.0 and Q it's mouth opened whenever the pilot activated beat mode. Unit 05's mouth went open when Mari pushed it to its limit. And Eva 13 only opened it's mouth when awakening, but since 13 is a restructured Adam, this is a special case. Hey, I have a plot logic question.
Alright, so if Evas are humanoid, as seen under their armor multiple times, and their armor also acts as a sort of containment, why were mouths built into the armor if they aren't supposed to be able to open their mouths? As in, the only time their mouths open is when they berserk, which is bad because it's supposedly uncontrollable. Eva 00 doesn't have the separate mouth armor, yet the rest afterwards do. It seems like if they wanted true containment, they would have sealed the heads completely. And if they hadn't designed suck a flaw to begin with, Eva 01 wouldn't have been able to chew 03's plug in the first place, circumventing that whole plot drama.

Yeah, that's the biggest gripe with the movie. This isn't like Star Wars where all the stuff that happens in a time gap between movies means little to do with what's going on in the now. A lot has happened in 14 years, and supposedly Shinji is at the center of it (which I call bullshit because I have evidence that is not the case) and somehow we're led to believe it's unimportant? Yeah nah, I ain't buying that. Also keep in mind that none of the footage of the next time preview at the end of 2.0 for Q actually appears in the film. Instead we got pianos and CHINS. Everyone being pissed at Shinji without ever even explaining why or what the hell happened to him just completely took me out of the move. I couldn't stand it at all and so the whole movie was lost for me.

1.0 was my favorite, but all "Q is shit" jokes aside I did like the movie, it was just my least favorite of the three. There's a lot of people that think 2.0 wasn't Eva (whatever that means) and that Q was somehow more Eva. What these people forget is that Q doesn't work without 2.0 and that NGE had just as much of the SoL, action packed, generic mecha stuff before the dark turning starting around episode 20ish on wards. And yeah, no one talks shit about Q's OST. You just don't, it was fucking wicked. Luckily my BD copy of 3.33 is the first press release so it came with the OST. I actually liked it the most.
The soundtrack was the best so far and I liked watching Shinji break.
