My view has nothing to do with morals, it's about wanting to have something important.

I used to think that way which is why it didn't happen in college. At a certain point in life you realize you're missing out something fun because of so called "morals."

I'd rather stay a virgin a little longer and lose it to someone important than go to a bar and have pity sex.

You can make fun of me for that sure, but difference is I've actually gotten laid. And headed to the bar again with a condom in my pocket, so possibly again.

None, because I wasn't aware you could ignore users. Not that I'd use the feature anyways.

He was a perfectly fine, average Joe poster when the thread was NOT related to politics or religion. The problem that was almost every thread he made, he would skew data, move goal posts, and like I said before SHADOW BAN people to make sure he "Won" every argument.

Daz was cool.

Pre-Destiny Bungie never limited access to the public forums if you didn't own a copy of Halo, and the Optimatch Playlist only required a linked Gamertag, no games of Halo necessary. I fail to see how the traffic will be curbed on B.net now that you need a linked Guardian to play. If they wanted to prevent Alt's they shouldn't have let people change their usernames at the drop of a hat and offer more methods of making customizable avatars via linked Gamertags.

Also, DeeJ blaming Charlie for personal attacks against him is bullshit when the whole point of a community is to grow and foster real friendships. DeeJ just wants everyone to be raid buddies, and as someone who used to static raid in FF, I can say with certainty that the chances of developing real sincere friendships over a fucking boss fight is extremely small.

Everyone seems to forget that DeeJ was actually pretty damn cool and treated all of us well before Destiny was announced. He was with us in the darkness, and we had the mail sack, which was actually great. Shit he even let me help make the first and second reverse mail sack.

Like he did his job and I find it really hard to believe that he's lost it, but that it's just Bungie sort of fucking him over.

He's not Urk, but it's obvious he's doing the best he can. Sure it's not a lot, but I noticed how he was before all of this but everyone seemed to have forgotten.

Does he annoy me now? Yes. But I don't think he's shit, I just think he's in a tough spot

I love Sep7.

only because we don't have shadowbans yet
Sep7 stands for free speech!

I have absolutely nothing against Flee, and I would never judge someone over their preferences in friends. However I will make it clear that I think Daz is objectively a shitty moderator and did not deserve the title.

Tfw Dazarobbo is actually good friends with Flee.

Well for starts, there isn't a moderator on here that wont try and shadow ban you in a desperate attempt to kick you off the site (Seriously, FUCK Dazarobbo). But if you want me to put everything down into a clean precise reasoning.

1. Political/Religious discussion is segregated. This one is probably the second most important reason as to why the community on B.net went to shit immediately. Bungie sat there and said "Just hide what you don't like :^)" while ignoring the LEGITIMATE criticisms of that mentality (IE: Why can't we just hide NSFW material and make that allowed?). And the fact that every single political/religious thread showed that NOBODY ever did that.

2. Layout is simple. Don't fix what isn't broken, and Bungie swore up and down that the community was becoming "Too large" to keep the old layout despite the fact that none of us saw an increase in site traffic.

3. Site was broken for over half a year. I get that it was brand new and we had to get accustomed to it (I barely got used to 2013 B..net when they decided to change it AGAIN and made it so bad that I gave up completely). Topic buttons barely worked, pages wouldn't refresh, notifications never went away. It was kind of hard to get the site into a somewhat comfortable layout with the tools you had.

4. Titles and prefixes went byebye. As a Fabled Mythic member, I felt pretty invested in the community, and we didn't need a giant number to display our seniority when our join date did that for us.

5. The community Manager is a sad, pathetic, fedora tipping, victim blaming neck beard. This one is self-explanatory.

I admit Shinji's reluctance to kill Kaworu in NGE was more of an impact to the viewer than Kaworu's head just exploding, but in terms of characters developing together, Q hit the nail on the head with the Shinji/Kaworu dynamic simply because NGE only had Kaworu for about ten minutes of screen time and less than half of that was Shinji communicating with him.

I dislike this death so much in comparison to his NGE death

None of the movies ever say this.
They imply it by the fact that he was the only one capable of weathering the trench run.

Quote
When is it ever established that this is an implausible feat for a jedi?
All the training they had to go through as a Padawan just to use the force on a decent level, even Anakin needed training, what makes his son so special?

Quote
But he lost.....
And survived, Yoda and Ben were practically assuming he was gonna he sent to the emperor. They didn't trust Luke to somehow escape.

Quote
So? Can't you just use your imagination?
OP wants me to reference the books, but the fact of the matter is for his argument is that you shouldn't have to use external source material outside the story to understand it. As with your argument, what the Hell am I paying this movie ticket for if they aren't going to imagine for me?

Quote
What?
He barely escapes his first duel with Vader, the biggest threat in the Galaxy next to the Emperor, and he derps away for a year and suddenly he's Vader's equal in VI?

Quote
How?
The only flaw I can think of is rushing in to fight Vader in V, but it turned out it was a good thing story wise since he saved almost all of his friends, learned the truth of his family, and proved he was stronger than both Ben/Yoda and Vader thought he was.

I agree, I never said he was exempt. Also I liked the comment on Shit Art Online.

And let's look at Luke's accomplishments in comparison. He's the best pilot for the Alliance despite having never flown an X-Wing into battle before. He can use the Force after just learning of it that day to blow up the Death Star. Even though he lost to Vader, he proved a point to Yoda and Ben that was capable of handling fighting a Sith on his own. He comes back in Return of The Jedi with all this new skill and power without ever showing us how he got to that point. He needed fuck all training after his duel with Vader and he somehow is able to stand perfectly toe to toe with him.

A flaw isn't really a flaw for a Gary Stue if it's shown in a positive light and every flaw with luke turned out to be a good thing in the end.

And Anikin not being a Gary Stu does not exempt him from being poorly written.

Yeah, she is pretty Mary Sue, but Luke was Gary Stue as fuck in the OT so I fail to see why it's a problem. Especially since Anakin wasn't a Gary Stue and look how much he was loved in the Prequels....

Or you could make yourself fucking happy and go out with that nice girl your dad is trying to set you up with or whatever.

I wish any of my exes would hookup with me, consider yourself lucky. If French teacher wanted me again I'd be right over. Time to make a fool of myself at the bar again tomorrow night and hit on someone.

I must respectfully disagree, Empire Strikes Back will always be the best IMO.

As for your post on Rey, I don't understand the dislike for her. She's 10/10 perfect, like Jennifer Lawrence before she became snobby. Yeah, she's kind of Mary Sue, but Luke was pretty fucking Gary Stue in the OT.

Blows the entire OT out of the water, and beats the prequels by a hair.
