Lmao Brooks isn't allowed back in the room during the Judge administering instructions because he can't behave like a grown adult. Dude probably wants to just object to everything and hope something sticks. Judge isn't having anymore of his bullshit.

Can't wait for this clown show to end.

« on: October 25, 2022, 09:46:30 AM »
Darrell Brooks faces 76 charges after driving through a Christmas parade of white people, killing six and injuring many more. Wisconsin does not have the death penalty. Trial is scheduled to run through 10/28, beginning at 8:30am each morning.

Previously:
>Brooks chose to fire his public defenders and represent himself
>no understanding of court procedure
>using sovereign citizen websites for legal arguments
>made an uninterrupted 51 minute rant last
>trying any and every strategy in order to tease out a mistrial
>Brooks forfeit his right to testify

Coming up next:
>jury instructions
>closing arguments (inb4 jury nullification shitstorm)
>the (objectively guilty) verdict and sentencing

What brought you here? Backwater forums are great and all (even if they're a dying breed) but I can't see why you'd chose one that's as dead as this one.

"Wretched soul! By Odin's command, you shall be purified!"

I just finished playing the demo and I had an absolute blast. I have it preordered and I'm waiting for it to come in the mail after Florida is done getting slapped in the face by the Atlantic Ocean. Anyone else tried the demo yet?

Still totally not a recession right? Pay no attention to the wizard behind the curtain (CPI data and crashing markets).

It currently holds a 39% audience score of RT.

The only problem with this score is that it's not lower. I pray with all my heart that this show financially tanks, and that's coming from someone who just put $150 on a new collection of the books.

A bit of an update, I interviewed a few weeks back and passed. I'm now in a pool with others that passed waiting to be called for a temporary position.

"We seek the True Evangelion. The one that will coincide with the reawakening of Lilith, and usher in the time of The Covenant. It is crucial that the necessary rites are performed by then."

This kit is nothing short of amazing. The build was the smoothest I've ever done, the unit itself is pretty sturdy and durable, articulation is pretty decent (save for the head barely being able to move but that's the only negative I have). The number one best thing about this though is unlike it's 2010 predecessor kit, this one actually looks like the Mark 06. The original Bandai kit was such a massive disappointment, they couldn't even get the spear right, but this one is 100% spot on.

10/10 for this bad boy.

Spoiler
The WILLE crew was aware though; when Midori showed anger at Shinji being allowed back on board, Hyuga mentions that the N3I was an unintended consequence and Sumire mentions that Shinji is still just a child and why Misato was hesitant to use the DSS choker (along with Misato's own attachment of Shinji). Midori was the one really angry about everything that happened and the rest of the WILLE crew really calm down after their initial introduction of Shinji post 4th Impact.

Spoiler
Their hatred of him was also always pretty irrational and petty if you ask me.
Being mad about the 4th Impact I can totally get but N3i the kid had zero clue what he was actually doing. He was basically set up with an apocalyptic time bomb and not a clue what it was and is now being treated like the Unibomber. How and why would Misato and Ritsuko not make this known to Wille?
I'm damn near about to burst into a whole rant about 3.33 so I'll stop there.

Spoiler
Unit 02 awakened in the prior fight but Asuka had her DSS choker on to prevent it from going further, Mari likely has hers on as well, but didn’t do anything “Awakening”-like. An awakening probably needed a mixture of Angel and Eva to trigger as was the case with both Asuka and Shinji. The crew already had reason to hate him for the N3I, they didn’t know what else he could do with Unit 01 considering how much of an outlier it already was.

And then there’s the simple fact that they simply weren’t acting rationally.

Thre's just one thing that bugs me with this movie.
Spoiler
The way everyone reacts to Shinji deciding to get back into Unit 01 when the Final Impact is already underway and the world is already ending. Like at that point what could he possibly do at all to make the situation any worse? End the world harder than is happening already?

Meanwhile nobody seems to mind Mari over there also blatantly and intentionally turning Unit 08 into the exact same waling apocalypse.

how so?
I believe it was last year he got into a glorified insult match with Biden over masks. This year he's trying to dismantle Disney's Reedy Creek Improvement District which would be a legal nightmare for Orange and Osceola Counties on the matter of who will foot the tax bill for all the services Disney pays for on its own. All this because they opposed his Anti-LGBT bill for public schooling which even though the wording didn't have anything really evil in it, it left the door open for interpretation. The man has a habit of doing one good or "okay" thing and then immediately shoot himself in the foot by doing something else completely ridiculous.

In other news, US House Representatives be like:

He wouldn’t make it past the primaries this go around. DeSantis is appearing to be the GOPs darling and left-leaning news outlets are already doing what they can to try and discredit him and we still have two years to go.

Although DeSantis is doing a good job discrediting himself....

If you think the US is unfettered capitalism I’ve got a bridge to sell you.

As of May of this year, the average monthly rent for a one bedroom in the US is $1,827. Almost every complex/landlord requires you to make x3 the rent a month to apply. The average US income is $31k a year; less the half of what’s needed to apply.

Fuck this clown world.
Yeah my dude, it's almost like unfettered capitalism is a corrupt and oppressive system that hampers social mobility and progress. Got me scratching the old noodle here.

I have already been studying the questions, and these are pretty difficult in comparison to the ones I had to answer for my current position three years ago.

Cost of resources (and especially gas) have always been an excellent bellwether for election results. The Dems know this November is going to be a bloodbath if they can’t bring down gas prices or inflation.
