If you think the US is unfettered capitalism I’ve got a bridge to sell you.
As of May of this year, the average monthly rent for a one bedroom in the US is $1,827. Almost every complex/landlord requires you to make x3 the rent a month to apply. The average US income is $31k a year; less the half of what’s needed to apply.Yeah my dude, it's almost like unfettered capitalism is a corrupt and oppressive system that hampers social mobility and progress. Got me scratching the old noodle here. 93

Nothing is set in stone.
I have already been studying the questions, and these are pretty difficult in comparison to the ones I had to answer for my current position three years ago. 97

Cost of resources (and especially gas) have always been an excellent bellwether for election results. The Dems know this November is going to be a bloodbath if they can’t bring down gas prices or inflation.

Now all the psychopaths in DC can bicker and argue amongst themselves over parts per million and billion instead of how much in billions we should give to Ukraine and Israel.

List of comments made by Jerome Powell that has either aged like fine milk or were just generally stupid:
"The high inflation we are seeing is transitory." "Wages are rising too high and our goal is to bring them down." And now our newest addition! "A hike of 75 basis points is out of the question and we wouldn't even consider it." 105

I just got matched against a Draco-Eldlich-Despia hybrid deck.
What a fucking cancerous way to kill a fun idea like a fusion festival. I’d rather go against an OTK burn because at least it doesn’t take 14 turns to scoop and quit. 110
Serious / Re: The Biden Presidency« on: May 20, 2022, 01:30:09 PM »
I can’t really blame them for trying when they can just say it’s 100% all Putin’s fault and people will absolutely believe it without any moment of critical thinking.
I must commend them though for having the self control to not add any pork whatsoever to the bill. this did strike me as shockingly stupid 111

Gas is about to reach $5 a gallon. And there’s still boomers thinking it’s 100% because of Ukraine (lol). I can’t wait for the clown world midterms.
I as an oil company can sell gas to a European country for $10 a barrel, OR I can take a hit to the knee caps and sell for $3.57 to the US if they pass this price gouging (price control) bill. I wonder what decision I’d make and what effects that would have on the supply of oil in the states.... 112

Achronos? That's a little unbecoming and unprofessional of a web developer who's job is basically just to be the vice-community manager on the forums.

I'd imagine so. Whether it'd be a theatrical release or just digitally through streaming though is anyone's guess.
Is Shin Ultraman going to get a US release? 114

I can’t help but feel as though the site update was a move above him. Of course as the Webmaster he doesn’t have a choice but to promote/defend the decision. He still shouldn’t have tried to lie and say Bungie’s online presence didn’t change because it sure as fuck did.
The fat cuck asshole webmaster Achronos who ruined the site still runs the carcass of Bungie.net and apparently just celebrated some work anniversary. 117
The Flood / Re: Bungie speaks out for "reproductive rights"« on: May 12, 2022, 06:24:17 PM »
IIRC it was a third party game sponsored by Bungie with stats hosted on their site; basically making them a mini-publisher. To be fair, mobile gaming back then wasn't the goliath money printer it is now; and Bungie's Aerospace would be a fantastic concept if it was announced post 2014. Alas they jumped the gun by a bit and it showed when their site update didn't even track for the stats as well.
Nu-Bungie now wouldn't give a fuck about the idea, the profit-margins would be appealing but doing something for a little developer (and smaller community) would immediately repulse the idea.

I have some very mild nausea but I've only gotten it about once a day so far. Unlike most people, I don't mind if my body throws up because I understand I'll at least feel absolutely amazing right afterwards with the huge rush of chemicals going through my head.
I got sick back in January (which is what apparently knocked my immune system out enough to for me to end up with bacterial pneumonia) and I had one of the worst sore throats I've ever had in my life. Thought it might be strep since I ended up vomiting as well. 119
The Flood / Re: It's been awhile, how's everyone going?« on: May 11, 2022, 09:09:30 PM »
Thanks. I think this is my first time having it. I would be able to go into work and be productive if it just wasn't for the fucking sore throat. Without that I can barely tell there's something wrong with me.
Strep is the worst. I get it too often One time so bad it infected my lymph nodes too. Stay strong king. Wish there were over the counter pain meds strong enough for your plight. 120
