I wouldn't be surprised if you tried to kill the tutorial demon with the broken sword. ...The big thing? No. Do you even have a sword at that point? You're just supposed to run away from it. Apparently there was a hint that told you to just run away from it, but I never read that--I just knew that I wasn't gonna be able to fight it. but no inuitive game design is too much for dark souls we gotta have these messages that tell you precisely what to do (and sometimes they trick you into doing things because LOL I TROL U LELELEL)
