They're both states of being. Fire is hot, so one should be led to believe that water is wet.

Hotness is a property of temperature, not physical contact
you just stack the atoms of water.

dump water on water and you just have more water.
you can't have an atom of water, they're molecules you FUCKING IMBECILE

that basically disqualifies you from any comments on the matter right there

however, if assist trophies, mii costumes, and spirits are still disconfirmed, that leaves us with the following characters:

Dr. Coyle
Springtron
Kid Cobra
Lola Pop
Master Mummy
Max Brass
Misango
Mechanica
Byte & Barq
Helix

unless, of course, they pull a sylveon and give us someone brand new or give us a tag team or some shit

if we weren't undergoing a global crisis right now, i'd be pissed, but i understand that they're prioritizing more important deliveries

Meanwhile I spend time reading about Linux and listening to music from NES games, since I can't do such a wonderful thing as running NES emulator through WINE without my laptop. Oh well.
what NES games are you trying to play
Bubble Bobble Part 2 and Little Nemo -The Dream Master.  I also had in mind set up an emulator on my mom's PC so she could play her favorite games such as Super Mario Brothers and Snow Bros, but she doesn't seem to be interested right now.
I also been playing Kick Master and Goonies, was about to grab Final Mission(japanese version), my favorite shmup.
wtf how did i not get notified of this post

little nemo was my fucking SHIT

goonies was great too, i beat it with my dad once

cool

if the quarantine hadn't complicated things, would you consider going the extra mile into veganism? because if it's an ethical decision for you, it's important to understand that vegetarianism isn't quite "enough" unless you're using it as a stepping stone
No, because I don't think there's anything wrong with using animal goods when you're not hurting the animal. A sheep in captivity, being shaved every now and again in exchange for food, water, shelter, and security, is not a bad deal for the sheep. They essentially get to escape the cruel cycle of life in exchange for a harmless procedure done every once in a while.
the trouble is, when extracting virtually any product from farm animals, they are pretty much invariably harmed in the process

the animal exploitation industry is a business like any other, and like any other business, they have to meet profit margins by selling as much produce as efficiently as possible—and there's no scenario where this ends well for the animals

with regards to sheep-shearing, a factory farm isn't going to hire someone who treats sheep with love and care, because that's not fast enough—instead, they hire sociopaths who don't care if they injure the sheep, as long as they get it done as fast as possible

the nicks and cuts they get from this procedure are known to attract flies—so many, in fact, that they'll start laying eggs inside of their wounds; the maggots will then start wreaking havoc on their insides and, of course, cause an even worse infestation (this is called flystrike)

because flystrike happens most often around the anus (for obvious reasons), farmers began to cut off the strips of skin around their tail in a process called mulesing—imagine having the skin on your buttocks peeled off, basically—to help prevent infestations, which is neither foolproof nor humane

this all takes place, of course, so that human beings can have cuddly clothes

when the sheep age beyond their usefulness, they are immediately slaughtered—and although opinions vary among vegans on how big of a deal this is, we can all agree that if you're going to put an animals "out of their misery," they should be euthanized, not slaughtered

online, you'll probably find articles talking about how important and necessary it is for sheep to be shorn, because they're incapable of shedding themselves, and will overheat and die if we don't do it for them—"so what's the harm in reaping the benefits of that"—and this is true, but you have to remember that the only reason sheep on farms don't stop growing their wool is because they've been selectively bred for that very purpose

so no matter how you look at it, livestock sheep are bred to suffer—the industry cannot sustain itself if they don't

i don't have a singular birthday that was better than all the others

as far as gifts go, i probably got the most mileage out of pokémon silver, which is a game i'd still pick up and play 20 years later

as far as memories go, having an all-nighter with my friends playing guitar hero and shit is probably up there

as far as the day itself goes, i prefer having a quiet dinner with family to loud parties with friends these days

I haven't even played a single Yakuza game in the first place, so there'd be no sense in picking up the 8th installment.
If you ever feel like playing a Yakuza game then 0 is both a convenient starting place and generally considered the best in the series. I want to see your take on it.

Last year, I decided it might be fun to pick up one game for every month of 2020, but that's turning out to be very difficult.

Nothing came out in January except for the new Yakuza, but that won't be coming stateside for a long time, and I haven't even played a single Yakuza game in the first place, so there'd be no sense in picking up the 8th installment. The only other thing of interest is this one called Journey to the Savage Planet, which looks pretty average. It's only $30, though, so I might pick it up.

Dreams was my February game, of course. Pretty easy. Besides that, there's Granblue Fantasy Versus, which is a fighting game, and I love those, but it's also a weeby fighting game. I don't love those. Especially when spun off from some gacha trash.

March has a good number of options, but the only one that appeals to me specifically is the new Animal Crossing, which I just ordered. You probably wouldn't expect me to like Animal Crossing, but in these trying times, I would definitely appreciate something to help soothe my psyche. I'm also interested in the new Ori game and Half-Life: Alyx, but I have nothing to play them on right now. As for Nioh 2 and Doom Eternal, I can wait to play those.

April is looking like shit, unless you like remakes. I'll have to hope something gets a stealth release; otherwise, my only option is to speed through Final Fantasy I-VII so that I can play the remake. I can't just skip to VII, because my particular brand of autism prevents me from playing games out of release order, even when the games have nothing to do with each other. At least I already own them all.

also yeah i love disney but fuck frozen
What the hell is wrong with Frozen, other than it being popular? It's a great franchise with memorable and likeable characters, not to mention truly mesmerizing songs and messages that everyone should hear.
i haven't seen the second one, but the first one is just so fucking lame and bland and formulated

the animation is good and all (as far as CG goes, anyway—i will always prefer hand-drawn stuff), but the recycled artstyle from Tangled just makes everyone look like a barbie doll, which is very off-putting to me

the songs are extremely overrated (although i won't pretend that i didn't ironically belt out "let it go" at a party with my choir friends once), but even if they were truly great, it's not like they should carry the movie

i appreciate the film's attempt to deconstruct disney's typical and problematic "dopey girl falls in love with random prince at first sight" trope by revealing that generic prince character to be a complete douchebag in order to show that you shouldn't just blindly marry someone just for being handsome or charming on the surface, but the message behind this subversion is undercut by the fact that anna ends up falling for that other schmuck anyway

if the movie was like "she doesn't need a boyfriend!" it would've been so much better, and a great message for little girls, but no, i guess at the end of the day, you really DO need a man to feel complete after all

the little snowman fuck wasn't as annoying as he could've been, but his presence was still unnecessary, and he definitely shouldn't have gotten his own song

they also make the reindeer behave like a fucking dog, which is a huge pet peeve of mine—because the audience couldn't possibly sympathize with a stupid animal unless it acts like something cute and recognizable, right? ugh, disgusting

the movie is a 5/10 or a 6/10 in my mind, but proportional to how popular it is, it's probably my least favorite

Also, Mark Cerny's creepy voice is kind of grating.

Spoiler
Okay, I just watched the first episode.

This is an show about a couple of degenerates in a fantasy setting who go from brothel to brothel to fuck as many anthropomorphic animal girls and monster girls as possible, posting reviews about their experiences all the while. It's surprisingly explicit, even for an ecchi show, but it's all just supposed to be funny, I guess. There's a lot of epic gamer jokes thrown in to appeal to the nerdy RPG crowd, and absolutely nothing is taken seriously (as one would hope).

Clearly, this is one of those "take it or leave it" kind of shows, where it's pretty much as enjoyable as you want it to be. If you're a 12-year-old zoomer, you'll find the show hilarious. If you're a normie, you'll be confused and disturbed. If you're a porn addict, then it's probably too boring and vanilla for you, but you'll masturbate to it anyway, because an orgasm is an orgasm. If you're a feminist, it will disgust and offend you.

Shows like this, where you can accurately predict exactly how certain types of people will react to them just by reading off the premise, are extremely fucking boring to me, because there's very little room for discussion. You either like the show because it gets your rocks off, or you don't because it doesn't. There's virtually no way to dissuade someone from watching a show like this if they've already latched themselves onto the premise, and on the same token, there's virtually no way to persuade someone like me into believing it has any merit or value whatsoever.

The fact that the show doesn't try to be anything more than what it is is somewhat respectable, but that's not something I feel inclined to give it any points for—nor do I feel inclined to give it points for anything else. I won't complain about how asinine the plot is, because that's the whole point—but that doesn't mean I have to like it. Naturally, this extends to the characters as well, who are all dogshit.

The art style is atrocious, which is a big problem in a show that's trying to be sexually titillating, and for a comedy, it's not even a little bit funny. I can only laugh at the idea that any of the show's jokes are supposed to be funny—and if that's the intent, I still don't consider that a good thing, because it's a kind of laughter that comes from a place of annoyance and exasperation and hatred, rather than a place of genuine enjoyment or appreciation.

A person who enjoys a show like this is a person I will never understand.

0/10

take THAT, shitty japanese cartoon that i don't have to watch
Damn, there is hentai with better plot line than this.
first popular show of the decade btw
