Its after the best Loz series "Four Swords"
someone needs to remind me the next time it's up on VC, because that's the only version with single player
it's the only zelda game i need to play
Four Swords Anniversary Edition or Four Swords Adventures?
four swords anniversary edition

i have FSA, but i don't wanna play that one first
They gave out Anniversary Edition for free on the DS & 3DS for a limited time
i know, they've done it several times

it seems that they do it every time there's a new handheld zelda, but by the time i remember to check, it's always too late

I think verbatim jerks it to movies like fight club because someone offs themself

The entire point of this show was to experiment with older styles combined with cliches. The pacing is really off because they have 10 episodes to work with, but it has evolved considerably.
wait this season is only lasting 10 episodes???
i didn't know this either

if that's the case, it probably couldn't hurt to watch the last three episodes, but i don't know what the point would be

9157
If I had anything that valuable, I would've sold it by now.

could we have even had a better first president than washington?

>partyless
>valiant soldier
>self-educated
>secular
>humble as a motherfucker
>freed all of his slaves
>set many important precedents still in common practice today
>never reproduced

I mean, life is pretty damn boring spending all your time sober
Nope.
I don't think someone who has never done drugs, save for drinking alcohol once, which is a depressant, can quantity how much better they feel on drugs than they would sober.
Twice, and yes I can, because you don't need to. All I have to do is observe how it affects others.

>Told his British captor to go fuck himself when he was little
>Ripped the national bank apart all by himself
>Had Redcoats running with tails between their legs with hundreds of casualties when he was outnumbered 10:1
>Participated in over 100 duels
>Killed a man in one of them after he was already shot and the bullet lodged in his heart, carried that bullet to his grave many years later
>Beat his would-be assassin with a cane until two Senators pulled him back because he was "being too rough"
>Receives 100 pounds of FUCKING CHEESE
>Invites the common man to the white house to help him eat it, gone within hours
>Pet parrot had to be removed from his funeral because it swore too much
i guarantee at least half of these are urban legends at worst, romanticized exaggerations at best

I think there should be some. My limit? If you're gonna get a firearm, you should be required to take a safety course (don't ask me how long) on proper usage, and storage of the gun. Too many times you see incidents where guns are mishandled or stored poorly.
how long

9167
i dont know how i feel about gun control these days honestly. i do know im not in favor of super strict regulations. dont want the proletariat to be disarmed.
If you're not crazy or a criminal, then there's pretty much no other reason they wouldn't be able to.

9168
The only good government is a big, big nannying government state that has a total stranglehold on your fucking life, because it knows you're too stupid to intelligently make your own life decisions. God knows that applies to everybody here.

and like verb said, teddy was cooler anyway
he was a bit of a genocidal maniac so nah not really. all us presidents are scum.
the sole metric there was charisma, and deny him that much would be foolish

obviously i can't completely love a guy who was a sport hunter, but i'd still rather see him on the twenty than jackson

9170
Amendment 2 should be abolished as soon as possible and arms heavily, heavily regulated.

One SHOULD look at Based Andrew Jackson with a look of awe, a sense of wonder, on just how bad ass an individual can be. "My only regrets are that I had not shot Henry Clay and hung John C. Calhoun!" Mother fucker puts all others to shame.
this is embarrassing

if you're going to tout a president for being "badass" at least cite teddy

Not genius enough to realize people in suits couldn't be assholes I guess
Part of me understood at the time that, surely, not all these people could have been all good. Richard Nixon in particular looked exactly like the dopey motherfucker he was, even when I was just 5 or 6--but he still looked like a responsible, accomplished, and caring man. I even looked at George H.W. Bush with a vague sense of reverence and esteem, until I later understood just how big of a clown he was--and the same could be said of Andrew Jackson and Herbert Hoover.

When I was just a kid learning about the presidency, and what it means to be the president, my mother gave me this laminated sheet which had small portraits of all the US presidents on it, right down to Clinton. She would read off all their names to me, giving special emphasis to those who were most important and influential, and I would just sit there pondering. She explained to me that every country has a leader, and that these were all the ones we've had in our country's history.

I looked at the portraits of George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, and even the lesser ones--Benjamin Harrison, Grover Cleveland, Franklin Pierce, and so on--and I couldn't help but notice just how regal and distinguished everyone looked. They all looked so storied and wise and professional--even the younger, more recent ones likes John F. Kennedy. And I just felt this sense of awe and wonderment about the whole thing.

It sickens me to my core to sit here, today, as an adult, with the knowledge that post-millenials--the next generation of useless fuckheads--are now growing up in an atmosphere where a man like Donald Trump is looked upon with the same level of deference and admiration I once paid to figures like George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt on that laminated sheet.

Donald Trump's portrait--a meme, a cartoon character voted in as a joke and supported exclusively by the most slimy, slack-jawed, empty-headed cunts on the planet--has now taken its place on that same sheet, and children will look at his face and think vaguely to themselves, "Wow, what a great man," the same way I did when I was younger.

What a fucking disgusting world I live in.

the creepy relationship between old man jack and his young female subordinate is a much bigger problem than a lack of consistency between the original run & the adult swim run re: violence
how about it's all of it
it's mostly fine. i wouldn't expect you to recognize that, though, being the dedicated, stubborn contrarian that you are.
that's not what i meant

you're saying that jack's relationship with ashi is a bigger issue than how the show handles violence

i'm saying they're both issues, among other--its attempts at "mature" humor have been pretty insufferable, and the pacing has been pretty all over the place--and i don't consider any one of these problems any bigger than the other

the show does have its merits--i thought the first episode was pretty great for the most part

but the bottom line is that it feels absolutely nothing like the show i used to love so much as a kid, and that's why i'm dropping it
