If her point is not to prove the influence of treatment of women in games - what is she trying to do? I made it a point to describe exactly what she's trying to do twice in that post. She's giving a critical examination of the portrayal of women in video games while citing examples of tropes she considers to be perniciously sexist. She then offers various solutions to make the industry treat female characters with greater care, and not just as toys for male gamers to play with. Even if she were saying that games make people sexist, who fucking cares? We already know that they don't. That doesn't mean there's nothing else to take away from her videos. Also, I believe she said "Directly reinforcing negative ways of thinking about the dynamics between men and women in our society."
So we are meant to understand that all she is doing is saying that games are a realistic representation of our society? No, and if that were true, she would probably argue that it's a deeply unoriginal thing to do. "games reinforce negative stereotypes of women"
If you are sexist, do you think having games which reinforce positive stereotypes of women, would convert you? Would it make your sexism more mild? No. Stereotypes in general should be avoided, regardless of whether they're positive or negative. If she claims that games have no effect, other than just satisfying sexists, would it not be more productive to spend half a million on figuring out the source of sexism?
What would changing games achieve?
We already know the source of sexism. The gaming population is predominantly male, so the industry tends to cater to that demographic exclusively. But as many games have shown, female characters can be strong, modest, and fleshed out. There's just not enough of them to satisfy feminists.

I don't really think I have any. I like movies, and then I like them less and less the more I watch them. If a movie is garbage, I don't typically give it another chance, because the things I don't like about it are sort of integral to the film itself.
Turkey questioned my lack of appreciation for the Cabin in the Woods the other day, so I decided to watch it again with a new perspective—ie. not as a love letter to/deconstruction of horror, but as whatever he said it was supposed to be (to be honest, I don't understand what it's supposed to be if not a critical satire)—and I just ended up disliking it even more. Really tedious and poorly-executed movie through and through—but this is Joss Whedon we're talking about.

She misrepresented the Hitman sequence - you are not rewarded for killing the strippers, you are penalised fro doing so. I already mentioned this, and I chalk it up to the simple fact that not every point she makes is going to be a home run. I still haven't played the game myself and probably never will, so the subject bores me. In watchdogs - the mission she showed is about shutting down a sex trafficking ring, but she presented it like it was a strip club or something. Are you talking about this video? Watch Dogs is another game I haven't played, but it was also only one game (briefly) mentioned in a montage of about 10-15 examples of games with strip clubs, brothels, etc. in them. I only skimmed the post but I'm not really seeing where the sexism comes in. This seems like a general critique of having support characters in a game which then supposedly becomes sexist when it happens to be a woman instead of a man. I understand why some wouldn't like this mechanic, but just because the supporting character happens to be a woman does not make it sexist when she isn't put in that position because of her being a woman. Replace Elizabeth in Bioshock with a young man who has never left his room, doesn't know how to fight, avoids violence and has never seen the outside world, and the game and his interactions with Booker would've played out the exact same way.
See Turkey's post; this is addressed in her essay. Again, I haven't played Bioshock Infinite, so I can't fairly comment on it, but your relatively exhaustive(?) list of defenses for Elizabeth's particular case draws a little bit of skepticism from me. It comes across like you're protesting too much. Either way, she is only one example out of the several she cited in her little montage.
