Gold and Silver on Virtual Console is literally the only thing I was looking for, so I'm as happy as could be right now. They were my first games in the series—I played that shit before I knew how to read—but my cartridge's batteries have gone dry and I haven't played them through in more than a decade. I'm hyped. It would be a killer app for sure. With an 8-minute direct taking place on PoGo's anniversary, though, I wouldn't get my hopes up for anything exciting. The only thing I really want is for Gold, Silver, and Crystal to be put on Virtual Console. That would make my year.

I skipped Half-Life 1 entirely and just watched Freeman's Mind, honestly.
Half-Life 2 is pretty fucking great (favorite FPS). The platforming is there, but it's executed a lot smarter and downplayed in favor of slick gunplay, some logic/physics puzzles, and lots of atmosphere.
