Sins of A Solar Empire is pretty fun tbh fam.
the last time i played with friends it was fun but anything is fun with friends

it's still just another slow boring strategy game with a mind-numbingly generic space theme

He says nobody uses it..

Because Sony hasn't had it in like fucking ten years.
ps3 can still play ps1 games, to be fair
tbf the ps3 was 10 years ago
but he said "fucking ten years," not "10 years"

there's a difference

Most people haven't played a good game in their lives.
i wont get into what one person likes and another person doesnt

but at the end of the day sony is still a business and if they dont think it will bring in more money than it would cost to do then it wont be done
you'll find that i later conceded this point before you even responded

getting rejected can be pretty mortifying depending on your disposition

the kind of dignity loss that makes you not want to speak to a female for months on end, even if you know it's silly and doesn't actually matter
That is more so on your end though for hoping way too much. It's not the womans fault for saying no, and it shouldn't be the end of the world for you.

Besides, it's better to know how someone feels than always wonder "what if?" and regret it for a long period in your life.
it's not really a thing of "why couldn't she just say yes," it's a matter of "why would she say yes, why did i even try"

i do agree with the second part though
That sounds like low self esteem issues and if you think suddenly having a partner would make your life happier, you'd be wrong. You need to have your life in shape mentally before you attempt to include another in it. At least that's how I feel.
i agree, but again, this doesn't really apply to me either—you forget how weird i am

it's not that i think having a partner would make me happier, per se—i just see unhappiness and loneliness in other people, and i want to see if i can't offer anything to help them with that, because those are two things that resonate with me on a personal level

and then i remember—oh yeah, i don't actually have anything to offer to that end, so i can't really help anyone

so, like you said, it's ultimately a matter of adjusting myself first, but i'm the kind of person who wants to have his cake, eat it too, and share it with anyone else who may want it—but no one wants it, and that's kind of a crushing feeling
This mindset you have of wanting to go into a relationship for what you can GIVE to the other person, is the BEST mindset anyone can ever have going into a relationship!! Seriously, it's very next level and if everyone thought like that 90% of relationships would be way better off and happier. Most people(even subconsciously) use relationships to see what they can take: validation/sex/approval/less lonely. Which man times ends badly.

Your thinking takings a wrong turn however. When you start thinking that you have no value to offer that person, that's completely wrong. The idea that you want to improve your future partners life actually has tons of value in itself.

More on this later I'm gonna eat brb
i don't really have a proper response to this, but i appreciate the advice

i'm glad you think i have the right mindset—i just need an attitude adjustment

Why is this even a question?
because breath of the wild is an amazing game that he may not want to miss out on until christmas
I've heard that Breath of the Wild is a great game, so I can understand why someone would buy a Switch for that. What are some other planned exclusives for the Switch that are practically guaranteed to be great? A console is going to need more than one great exclusive title to justify a purchase for most people.
in this case i disagree—that's how good breath of the wild is

but at the moment, it's pretty much all it has if you're not into goofy fighting games or rereleases of wii u games
To be honest, Breath of the Wild just looked like a copycat of what a lot of Western RPGs like Witcher 3 and The Elder Scrolls do to me. I'm probably wrong, and I'd like to be wrong.
botw shits on those both of those titles
In your opinion, what are some of the game's best features?
the world, the exploration, the atmosphere, the music, the sense of adventure that combines the wonder and mystery of zelda 1 with the grandeur and epic proportions of wind waker

it also does the majora's mask thing, where unimportant background characters are there, but they still feel like real people, and they react appropriately to a variety of in-game events (like rain)

the exploration in particular is pretty much boundless—you can go anywhere at any time, and there are no invisible walls preventing you from climbing any mountain you want to climb (until you reach the map's border)

all of the complaints you tend to hear about the game are typically a matter of personal opinion and aren't based on any objective flaw within the game's design itself

most people agree, it sets a new standard for open world games

it's not perfect, but in terms of being a copycat, it's more of a total upstaging

Equating your personal distaste for something to an actual event that can cause a psychological break in an unwell person is severely disrespectful.
^every person who liked this post is a sensitive, self-righteous piece of shit, how about that?

you know you live in a great society when it's fine to laugh at someone for being affected by depictions of graphic violence -
but saying that language that destroys your day is a trigger is deeply offensive
offensive =/= disrespectful

Why does Skyward Sword have a better story and dungeons?
because it has a worse everything else

probably the worst canon zelda game for a non-handheld console
Did you even make it to demise?
i mean it was the easiest game in the series so i don't know how i could not have

That's true, console can't be compared to the magnificence of PC.

"I find this joke funnier than the last."
"I find this joke more funny than the last."

Which sounds better?
definitely "funnier"

"more funny" sounds clunky and awkward

it sounds slower even though they have the same amount of syllables

i could be wrong, but i think in the case of there being a specific comparative form for an adjective, it is incorrect NOT to use that form
