-orochimaru's plan is coming together ... from what i can gather, itachi is one of, if not, the strongest member of the akatske, and orochimaru can't square up to him. he needs the sharigan and the hakegenkai (?) of the uchiha clan, which is why he needs sasuke and his abilities and will likely pull a captain ginyu with him i believe you mean Kekkei Genkai the kekkei genkai of the uchiha clan is the sharingan likewise, the kekkei genkai of the hyuga clan is the byakugan

none of those seem like games i can really lose myself in. save mm but i want to play that on my n64 the way the nintendo gods intended
I'd at least look into ALBW if you're looking to lose yourself. Handhelds aren't really "lose yourself" consoles in general—they're pick-up-and-play time-wasters by nature. That's how I always saw it, at least. There are exceptions, of course, but yeah. ALBW is your best bet.

On another note, if you want some interesting history stuff Verb, Extra Credits has a series on it with stuff I never even knew/I thought would be interesting. It's not always accurate to a tee but the general idea of it all is. Plus the animations make it interesting, and it's not bogged down in super series music and a deep voiced narrator.
If you want I could recommend you some
Sure

Deoxys is probably my favorite legendary tbh. The whole idea of an alien virus that takes the shape of a Pokemon feels like a wild departure from the whole mythical style of the other legendaries, and the ability to change forms was unique at the time. Plus, it has arguably the best battle theme in the series.
It's in my top 5 favorite legendaries for sure. my first favorite is probably celebi, no particular reason, i just think it's really cute, and i like the idea of a forest guardian that travels through time and keeps shit pure then there's suicune and articuno

i never got to the bottom of which i like more, begins or TDKR
begins is boring as fuck and hard to sit through, but it's a competently made film TDKR is a schlocky over-the-top shitshow and i hate it, but it's also unintentionally hilarious

Class pls, I want to discuss this in a reasonable context.
was this really what arguing with me was like back in the day
Better, actually. The closest equivalent would be like Class in Jive threads, but instead to every post you made instead of every thread.
oh
hmm
tbh it was pretty awful, up there (relative in time) with owing the state thousands in debt and being in the pit of a depressive roller coaster.
well
i don't think i've ever fully made it up to you—and i'm not sure if i can, considering how you worded that, which i'll always regret—but i'm just glad things are better now at least
The best someone can do is not repeat their mistakes.
that may be the best thing, but it doesn't feel like it, you know what i mean there's no sense of stability—just clinging to the notion that i'll never fall to my old ways again, with no real sense of "that will obviously never happen again" i don't know, i've always liked closure

the profit margin for the drug was beyond reasonable (which was discussed among analysts for various news networks at length)
if you could link me those discussions (either now or later, idc) i'd probably be interested in listening to them i'm open to the idea that shkreli was being dishonest—it's just that most of the people who hate him only hate him because they only read the headline of the initial price hike story and nothing more

Since it goes along with the idea of thought vs action as well, I don't care if he "embraced" his villainy; the appropriate thing would have been to own up to it and then be better from then on. Instead, he said "whatever" and continued to be awful. Realizing you're shitty isn't enough, you should at least make some effort to be less shitty.
try to look at it from his pov though you're going about your life, and you make a business decision that makes a lot of people angry—despite the fact that bigger price hikes have happened before, yet they weren't publicized at all (two wrongs don't make a right, ik ik) now all of a sudden, you're up to your ass in journalists claiming that you're the MOST HATED MAN in the country (and perhaps you are, having made a decision that you considered fairly innocuous, and arguably is) is it not understandable how he'd react in such a way

"If Taylor Swift wants to come over and suck my d***, I’ll play it for her."
"If there is a curious gap in your favorite artist's discography, well, now you know why." (referring to the Wu-Tang album)
"My investors expect me to maximize profits, not to minimize them, or go half, or go 70 percent, but to go to 100 percent of the profit curve that we're all taught in MBA class."
He's the equivalent of a Saturday morning cartoon villain.
yeah, and maybe it's just my contrarianism—or maybe i have some sort of kinship with him—but i find him extremely difficult to hate and trust me, nobody hated him more than me when that headline first broke out

I know it's easy to jump on the hype train, but yeah, wait for some gameplay reveal before we get too excited.
there may not be any gameplay for Prime 4, but there's tons of gameplay footage for Samus Returns

Okay, that's a subject on its own
but then the whole Wu-Tang album happened after that, plus his offer to other artists to have the sole ownership of their musical creations. After all that, his arguments about the pharmaceutical fiasco seem fabricated at best.
You think so? I think it all kinda makes sense, honestly—he raised the price on his drug because it treats a rare disease that relatively few people need. Otherwise, the drug doesn't turn a profit, and his company doesn't make the money needed to fund research and development for better drugs. So from there, the only option is to shitcan the drug and have everybody die. If you're insured, you pay a nominal fee for the drug, and the rest of the cost gets paid for by insurance companies and other corporations like Walmart, which stock the drug. If you're NOT insured, you get the drug for free—he's not just gonna let you die. The only reason I take his word for it is because 1.) regardless of how anyone feels about him personally, he IS a pharmaceutical executive who has intimate connections with the industry; he's an expert, and 2.) no reports have come up where a toxoplasmosis patient (the disease that Martin's drug cures) have died because they couldn't afford the drug. This leads me to believe that they've all been able to afford it. Also, I can't blame the dude for buying an album that the artists only printed one copy of, intending to make millions off of it. I blame the artist for that. They had him sign a contract stating that he wasn't allowed to share it, either, so it's not like Martin is keeping it from the public. On Periscope streams, he said he viewed the investment as a donation to the hip hop industry—whether or not you buy that is up to you; I'm personally not interested in that whole debacle. I haven't heard him ask other artists to have sole ownership, but if he did, he was probably trolling—it's what he does now. After the whole drug fiasco, he decided to take up the villain persona in stride. I personally think it's kinda funny, even if he does take it too far sometimes. I'm not saying I LIKE the guy—he's just playing the capitalist game how it was meant to be played. He seems very intelligent, and he's open for a lot of discussion on these topics. He's said he's open to the idea of single-payer universal healthcare and government-subsidized medicine, among other socialist-friendly ideas. And as far as I know, he hasn't done anything explicitly terrible, as far as I've been able to gather. But he still has the most punchable face in the world. Can't take that away from him.
