It can be incredibly frustrating to see the ones you love do incredibly stupid or irresponsible shit, so it makes sense to me. I tend to lash out at my loved ones, because that's the only way I know how to express that I care. Unfortunately, though, that just tends to push them further away. Such is life.
That doesn't really correlate with what I said, but I suppose what I said was rather vague in the first place. I am talking about how life is just so unsatisfying. The people you like never seem to like you back, you are sick of getting shit from other people, so you want to give people a gaping wound inside their conscience. At the same time, you wish that you could just be friends with and love others. Sometimes, the same people you want to torment, are the same people that you wish you could perhaps be friends with.
I think I still feel the same way to a certain degree. My anxiety causes me to constantly worry about what the friends I do have think of me—I may consider them a good friend, but maybe they secretly hate my guts and wish I would just go away. It's really quite unpleasant, and as a result, my mind tends to vacillate between "just live for yourself, fuck everyone else" and "yeah but it would be kinda nice to have a bunch of people around who genuinely liked me though"

I hate everyone but I don't necessarily want them to hate me.

is this a meme avatar?

I like it for some reason
I had to come up with an avatar that couldn't be construed as "furry" without stretching your imagination, because smartass furries like to accuse people of being in the closet about being a furry all the time. This just makes it harder for them.

It started off as just rainbow colors, but I inverted it after someone pointed out that it looks like a "gay furry pride flag," even though that's just silly.

Also, Chicken would constantly insist that he wasn't a furry at all, but something else. What was that?

I remember a lot of people using furry coups, I just don't remember that many being overly sexual. Hell, the only I can remember (and just now) was Chicken's, and it was a wildcat or something cooking pancakes.

I'm not saying it wasn't a massive thing, I just don't remember how bad they were tbh.
I'm willing to accept that I'm perhaps exaggerating unintentionally and remembering things differently. I was a young dumb teenager who had only scraped the surface of Internet degeneracy, and now I'm a young dumb adult who's not affected by virtually anything on the Internet anymore.

Do you remember that GhostNXG guy, who insisted on having those Super Sonico coups that really traipsed the borderline? Like, they got really bad. Even you guys had to remove one of them at one point.

It's coups like theirs that may be affecting my memory here, and my hatred of furries filled in the gaps.

Furry July was a thing started on Bnet's Coup group, circa 2011. It was basically just a dumb thing where everyone in the group starts wearing a hyper-sexualized furry coup, specifically to trigger people who hate furries.
Um actually it was just to get at Chicken. He sperged out about furry coups, so everybody threw on a furry coup for laughs. Eventually he gave up and joined in.

Peer pressure, yay
But after he joined, you can't deny that offending everybody wasn't the next step—and even if it wasn't, it still doesn't justify the behavior.
Not really, and tbh I don't remember the specific coups used besides Das (and he's always used the same one).
Well, I happen to remember everything quite distinctly.
Besides that obvious ones like Wylde, who else had overly sexual coups? Legit don't remember most coups that people had.
Do you remember Cobra? Sam Alkkad? Taconomicon? Tacoworld? Klyka? Darky? Misha? Every single brony? Everyone who was already a furry and doubled down?

There was also that thing where Sapphire had one specifically for me, because she hated my guts. Got herself banned because she forgot that you're not supposed to target harass someone.

Not trying to say my reaction wasn't terrible, over-the-top, and spergy. But there was a lot of you, and it kinda drove me insane.

But you know, what's done is done and all that. I don't actually harbor any bad feelings about any of that anymore, I was just recounting the whole thing for TBlocks.

Ah I see Dazarobbo didn't stop being a hypocrtical faggot even in private groups. Thank God he fucked off to whatever bullshit he does now.
I actually like Daz—he's even liked some of my anti-natalist posts, so that was honestly the only problem I've ever really had with him.

And also, to be fair, if my memory serves me correctly, the rule was "no NSFW coups." It was just that the mod team was comprised almost entirely of sexually confused fourteen-year-olds (not exaggerating) who didn't properly understand the concept of "NSFW," and I did.

They had this policy called "no pink, no ban." Basically that meant, as long as your coup did not show a woman's nipples, vulva, or anus, it was okay. You could have a coup where the woman is completely naked, except she has small pasties and a band-aid covering her vagina, and it was a-okay.

That's stupid enough, but that's not the fucked up part. The fucked up part is that they never actually added this stipulation to the official rules thread. Had they done this, I would've had NO issue whatsoever with their degenerate, misogynistic, "Hi, I'm a turbovirgin" coups.

But every time I asked them to add the stipulation to the rules, I was always denied for reasons that are still a mystery to me.

Honestly, I have no idea how I put up with that shit for so long. I liked the people there (even though they all hated me), but the moderation was some of the worst I've ever seen in my fifteen years using the Internet.

tl;dr

Furry July was never funny and this is just me being me.

I never actually intended to make it a real tradition, though, until someone went out of their way to tell me "it's not a tradition unless you hold it every year." So, of course, I proceeded to hold it every year since then. So whoever told me that can eat shit. I think it was {{{Taconomicon}}}.

What is this
If you're actually confused:

Furry July was a thing started on Bnet's Coup group, circa 2011. It was basically just a dumb thing where everyone in the group starts wearing a hyper-sexualized furry coup, specifically to trigger people who hate furries. They did this every July, and they didn't stop because they considered it a """tradition""" (AKA they were autistic).

It was really autistic and stupid and not funny, speaking as someone who loves triggering people.

So when I joined the group, and I experienced my first Furry July, I was disgusted, so naturally, I started reporting each and every one of them—mostly because they broke the "no sexualized coups" rule. You were not allowed to have sexualized coups, but Furry July was an exception for some retarded reason.

Nonetheless, I reported every one of them, because I have principles.

Eventually, one of the coup mods at the time (Dazarobbo, actually) took away my ability to report coups, and told me to stop reporting stuff that didn't break any rules.

Since this was patent bullshit, I retaliated (like the petty fifteen year old I was) by starting my own tradition: Report July. This is where I openly encourage people to report all furry coups on Furry July, not because they break the rules—but because it doesn't deserve to be a thing. I also did it to prove the point that starting """traditions""" over such stupid unfunny garbage was really dumb, and that doing things for the sake of tradition in general is for unintelligent people.

Now we're at year 5 or 6, and it's firmly cemented itself as a """tradition.""" It ain't going anywhere.

If you think this is all stupid, you're right—it is. That's kinda half the point I'm trying to prove.

I find it interesting that you know that. I would change the avatar to avoid confusion, but I'm not a furfag.
Well, I didn't know it until I googled it five seconds ago—if there were an established furry flag, I'd be able to find it.

Verb's avatar looks an awful lot like the furry pride flag.

Have we been bamboozled?
There is no officially recognized "furry pride flag."

My avatar could just as easily be interpreted as gay pride.
