so what had you caught between these two games in particular
Last fighting game that I got into was USF4, so SFV seems like the go-to. But I haven't heard amazing things about it, and I've heard a lot of good things about BBCF. It seems like the better fighting game, but Street Fighter is typically more populated and a bit more accessible.
the game is fine, it's just mired with a bunch of questionable smh-worthy design choices sf4 and even sf3—EVEN SF3—took a lot of shit in their heyday, but now everyone looks back at them in reverence just stay away from r/kappa

eh, twilight princess on gamecube is the definitive version anyway (link is actually left-handed in that game)
botw honestly feels like butter
I was so mad when I realized he wasn't right handed in Twilight princess. My buddy mentioned it and it threw my perception of the game pretty hard.
I still need to play BotW. Looks like a return to form for the series.
He's also left handed in LttP, which I feel was the definitive title in the series.
He's left handed in every Zelda
it was only flipped for the Wii
With the exception of Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild.
Obvious reasons—motion controls, right-handed players, etc—but it would've been dope of them if they just added an option for lefties, because apparently, some of them actually have a harder time playing games like that.
I'm surprised they DON'T have that option... That seems like a massive oversight. I know lefties aren't very common, but it seems that if your star character is a lefty, along with the creator, you should sure as hell at least add the option.
I guess I found the overall franchise's ONE FLAW after all
solonoid wins
You know, it's funny.
Somehow, playing by your strange standard of what a flaw is, you found something you could consider a flaw.
But where I was content before, I somehow now feel less like I've won.
i have that effect on people

street fighter v
pros: + we could play it together if you get it on PC (cause i know you don't like adding internet people on PSN) + it's a lot easier to get good at than most fighting games, while still being pretty fun + memes + largest player pool in fighting games right now besides maybe tekken cons: - you're supporting shitcom if you buy it - lots and lots of DLC characters to get the full roster/experience (though characters CAN be free, if you work for them) - silly looking gumby-on-steroids artstyle that may not appeal to everyone
blazblue:
pros + you like weebshit and blazblue is pretty hella on the weebshit + in terms of gameplay and design and mechanics, it's all-around the better fighting game + pretty cool stylized visuals that don't look like gumby on steroids cons - it's far tougher to learn and get good at, with an emphasis on lengthy combos and execution - pretty small pool of players, and i for one do not plan on purchasing it myself - low character diversity with insultingly bad female character designs (yes, even worse than R. Mika)
if you were looking to become a hardcore fighting game connoisseur, i would say blazblue for sure if you just wanna play some fun fighting games casually, i would recommend SFV
so, whichever end of the spectrum you find yourself closer to
I want to be blazblue, but I'll probably end up SFV smh
You can`t buy both?
i think she's saying she lacks the S K I L L to play anything beyond SFV

Actually, it seems like he's ambidextrous, but generally prefers his left hand.

Miyamoto-san is a lefty, so that's why. I think it's a clever little thing.

nothing that has made me more incensed than when i found out my sister tore some of my rare/favorite yugioh cards in half when i was 10 or 11
some of them torn, some of them crumpled up
You had exodia didn't you or some of those legendary cards
Wow did they redesign the cards?
heck no, just fanart

So he just hyper armors through attacks and beats people to death?
basically, and has the highest health in the game which is refreshing, because most big boy characters are just dumb grapplers i prefer characters that take a little more finesse

actually, if you're not into touch controls, i can see how you wouldn't like phantom hourglass or spirit tracks as well
but you know, that's still more a problem with a select few individual games than a recurrent problem with the series, imo

Shit controls have plagued the series from the beginning. The only outlier being link to the past.
has it?
Yes
gonna have to disagree skyward sword tends to receive the most complaints (though in my experience, the motion detection was actually spot-on), and ocarina of time can be a little bit janky these days, but beyond that, i've never really had any glaring issues with the controls for any other game
