Hell, the Reverse Flash defeated him with a single punch when Wondy took more punishment and ended up beating the Reverse Flash. Superman is also way too hung up in protecting others that he sometimes ignores their need to help thinking that he can take the brunt of the attack, this had led him being humiliated by Darkseid, Brainiac, and Lobo both in his own series and in the JLA.
Recently in Rebirth he couldn't even beat a single octopus monster alone, he needed his son's help. AND then he couldn't beat the Eradicator alone, he had help from his son, from Lois in the Hellbat armor, and Krypto. AND now he barely survived fighting against Zod, Cyborg Supes, and Eradicator. If he was sooo powerful as you say, he would've already cleaned house, but he didn't. He left the fight blinded and beaten.

Now apply it to mainstream where the convoluted and usually poorly written comics (and I mean comics as a whole) actually apply
or let Marvel get their hands on it so they can actually do something decent with the character. But we all know they wouldn't let Marvel touch their face.

Anyone who actually thinks Dark Souls is "hard" really just has a failure to learn how to actually learn and adapt, because once you get the basic formula down, every game is easy bar a few bosses with each installment. But even then that's not the majority of the game.
i think the perception comes more from the period in which the game was released, because triple-A games that required as much of the player's attention as dark souls were running a huge deficit in the last decade almost every SP campaign of the average video game released in the past ten years is fairly braindead and can be beaten on autopilot, which bred a generation of players who took that for granted so by the time demon's souls came out, nobody could really get into it at first, because it was a lot more punishing than a lot of other popular games at the time (gta 4, fallout 3, oblivion, fucking CoD), which probably made it seem perhaps more challenging than it really is also, if you didn't have a background in fighting games, RPGs, other action games like it, or even rhythm games (all of which are relatively niche genres), i can understand why someone may consider it one of the hardest games ever, because if all you've been playing is CoD and elder scrolls (which was true of most people at the time), you're gonna have a hard time with the souls series

Okay, but it still seems strange that there's only a point's difference between "unbelievably boring garbage" and "not a terrible show", or how you can spend a paragraph talking about how great Angel's Egg is and then give a seven. What cost it the last three points, if you had nothing negative worth saying about it?
I wasn't expecting a serious response to that so I'm just going to keep pretending you throw a dart blindfolded to decide the scores.
i kinda see what you mean i rated LotGH a 4/10 because, despite describing it as "unbelievably boring garbage," it's a matter of fact that there are several shows that have left me in a MUCH worse mood after finishing them like, LotGH may have been boring, but it never outright annoyed or offended me, like TTGL or dragon maid have paradoxically, there's a part of me that actually likes watching 2/10 or even 1/10 shows MORE than i enjoy watching 4/10s, because they can have that so-bad-it's-good quality about them whereas 4/10s are just plain ol' bad, and don't have any entertainment value whatsoever it's kinda like this  so that might explain why i tend to be harsher and more dismissive with my 4/10s, because they're not even fun to rant about none of this shit is hard and fast though, and different cases are due to vary wildly based on the context as for angel's egg's 7/10, it very well could be an 8/10, i just want to rewatch it
