How is it the woman suspects nothing when she's being courted?
By giving birth you are an executioner; you sentence those you spawn to inevitably die. The disease you inflict is called life; a terminal disease.
Technology is advancing at such a rapid pace that within 100 years we may be able to prolong our lifespans by at least 50 years, and I'm being conservative. Gene therapy, nanotechnology, artificial organs and so on. This is what simpletons like you and verbatim fail to realize.
i made this realization at least 10 years before you did, and it's amusing how you think it has anything to do with anything, because it only makes my convictions even stronger
I knew you would make such a witless retort. Hahaha, you truly are quite stupid.
lmao why are you talking like that

yes

women who "enjoy" being raped are probably mentally ill, and anyone who takes advantage of that should probably be shot
They waited a thousand years for it's awakening. Sitting in mental agony and discipline, they stood still and watched the thing slumber. After centuries passed, the thing all at once opened it's eyes and looked up, no warnings given. I looked around as though it were clueless, as if it knew nothing, it's eye lids thick and porcelain over delicate glassy white opal eyes. It was as though the thing were a child being born, looking at the world for the first time. The people got up, abandoning altogether their task of waiting, and run to the thing and kill it.
*its

I didn't play many games this year, and while I think BotW was one of the best I played, I find it hard, or disappointing to believe it was the best of 2017. It had a fun sandbox, but the story was almost non-existent and had some significant issues holding back the gameplay. I thought Nier: Automata in particular succeeded in making a uniquely powerful story with solid gameplay mechanics, and for that reason it should've won.
nonexistent story is just how i like my zelda anyway

the problem is how they advertised it—none of us knew that all those cutscenes we saw in the trailers were relegated exclusively to just loosely connected memories of stuff that happened 100 years ago, and i can see why some people would be bothered by that

it worked for me because i simply don't allow trailers to color my perception or expectations anymore, which is also why i can't bring it to myself to hate games like no man's sky, even though the internet says that i have to

i could watch daigo vs. momochi all day

top 8:

winners:
MenaRD (Birdie) vs. Itazan (Zangief)
Tokido (Akuma) vs. Yukadon (Ibuki)

losers:
Moke (Rashid) vs. Daigo (Guile)
Problem X (M. Bison) vs. Nemo (Urien)

very japanese top 8 (with one english dude and a dominican), but eight different characters, which is hype

no americans; nuckledu, who was the champion last year, dropped out of the tournament for reasons unknown

i guess i'm rooting for daigo/tokido

Found a shiny Smeargle after a mere 45 calls for help. Failed to catch it after it struggled itself to death.

that's the first shiny i've failed to catch in eleven years, since that wobbuffet i found in hoenn's safari zone

the hunt continues

Current Ultra Sun nuzlocke team:

Alolan Persian
Pa'u Style Oricorio
Shiny Hariyama
Sylveon
Tsareena
[blank]

My Furfrou died to Guzma, and he was a major bro, so that bums me out. Currently considering doing something I've never done before: shiny hunt for a Smeargle. Since it's only available in one route, invoking shiny clause is the only way I can catch it, but since they made finding shinies so easy in this game anyway, I might just go for it. I've always wanted to use a Smeargle in a nuzlocke, and I don't really know how else to replace Furfrou.

I know Smeargle isn't very good in single player, and I already used one in Silver, but I don't care. I wanna use one in a generation that doesn't fucking cocktease me every time I find a useful move to teach it, since Sketch has (almost) zero limitations in Gen VII.

Dunno how Zelda was even nominated for best art considering they've basically done the same style thing for the last few installments.
um

No
I knew that'd be the only thing you focused on

fanboy
well yes but

Honestly

Breath of the Wild

Skyward Sword

Twilight Princess

they have their similarities, but to say they're all "basically the same style" is just... not correct, and they all have fairly apparent distinctions

botw's cel-shading is very strong, but the colors are bright and washed out, and the models are stylized like anime to the point of looking almost like a makoto shinkai film

skyward sword's cel-shading is lighter, and the colors, while highly saturated, aren't as washed out as they are in botw. the models are also have more detail, eschewing the cartoony look for a bit more realism

twilight princess is perhaps the most distinct, with its gritty color palette, lighting that ranges from super realistic to high fantasy in twilight, moody character expressions, and further attention to detail, giving it a distinctly "adult" feel that other zelda games do not have

i realize you may not have been 100% serious, but i don't even think they're all that similar to begin with

Move Xenoblade and Virgin Emblem Buttom Mashers to don't bother.
as much as i despise them, i'd be lying if i said i didn't see their appeal from a pure gameplay standpoint
FE Warriors is literaly just button mashing though,
yeah, and sadly, some people enjoy that

trust me if i was going off my OWN opinions for that list, it would look a lot different

Wow, my palate is as round as they come, thank you very much. Just not too big on weebshit and overly infantile stuff (both of which are Nintendo staples). Sonic has just never been my thing because of the semi "on rails" gameplay (the emphasis on constant but very linear speed always gave me that impression) and Splatoon looks like a brightly colored and casual third person shooter with nothing special going for it that'd get me to play it more than a few games. I tried the first one on display at a game store and felt done with it after one match.

Console sounds about what I expected. Anything about a new Smash Bros or Pokemon?
all we know about pokémon is that the next generation is guaranteed to be on the switch, but it's still about a year away

as for smash, we don't know much at all—recently, there was a system update which made it so you could play with a gamecube controller, which tipped a lot of people off that smash for switch was on the horizon, but nintendo then went on to state that this wasn't actually intentional and was merely a happy accident

you might like the fact that doom is on the system, and that it plays much better than you'd expect (not that i've played it—i'm going by the word of others), but not if you can't deal with anything other than k+m

which sonic games have you played, out of curiosity

Splatoon and Sonic? Never liked any of the Sonic games and the first platoon looked awful to me. Why are they must-haves? And what about the console itself?
"must-have" assumes you have a well-rounded palate; splatoon 2 and sonic mania are fucking dope and have received universal acclaim, but if you're not into either franchise, you can skip them—but that doesn't leave you with a whole lot

the console itself has its follies, but i think it's pretty great overall, principally because of the sheer utility of being able to take it on the go, and the seamless transition between the two states is pretty fucking revolutionary

you might not like the joycons—in fact, i expect you to hate them—because they're VERY small, but they get the job done once you get used to them, and being able to sit in any position you want while playing is very nice

the biggest problems with it are the extremely fragile screen, which would probably rank a 2 on moh's hardness scale, the asinine placement of the AC adapator port (directly under the machine), and the chintzy little kickstand they give you is an absolute joke

i would recommend waiting a bit longer for more games to come out, if zelda and mario alone aren't enough
