Like, I'm not joking.

Usually I have at least three people trying to rip me apart by now.

So a character can't have depth if he hates sand. Huh.

I don't get why people always make fun of that line.

I'm sorry I mean to imply that everything consistent be canon. Anything in the EU that makes sense.
What if it's ambiguous? When there's a contradiction, how do you decide which is canon and which is not? There could be a variety of ways it could make sense. How are you supposed to decide, and who's gonna give enough of a shit to do so? And what authority do they have?

This makes me happy.

The EU was a fucking abhorrent mess.

I don't understand why anyone would change their name. All it CAN do is confuse people, unless you keep your avatar and stuff.
Or you're just not very clever for not knowing who it is?
You don't have to be clever, you just have to know the person enough. Frankly, most of you don't interest me enough.

Sorry about the double post; I forget if you guys aren't cool with that.

I just didn't agree with the message. It was entertaining as a film, but I don't agree with the idea that if we were to stop having children, the world would become a shithole. I don't see that happening as a result.

I saw a film called Children of Men the other day, where every woman in the world becomes inexplicably infertile, and no children are born for eighteen years. This apparently created a... dys... topia...

Stupidest movie ever.

Cool chase scenes, though.

I feel like the amount of weeaboos and furries and weirdos would only naturally scare a lot of people off.
Your haircut scared them off.
My scarecut haired them off.

But it would be like leprosy. You'd have to obsessively wash because you couldn't tell whether you stank or not.
Everyone should be anosmic!

Why not?
I'm straight-edge, and there's far more intelligent and productive ways to let loose.

Gaming / Re: Give me your gaming history!

Well, my parents were kinda hipsters back in the day, because when I started playing games, it was around the new millenium, and instead of playing PlayStation or Nintendo 64 like the cool kids, my dad had his NES and SNES for us to play. Oh gosh, these were the days. I can't remember the first game I've ever played, but Super Mario Bros. had to have been one of them. I sucked at these games, but I had so much fun.

Occasionally, my uncle would come over to play his Dreamcast and his Sega Saturn. He mostly owned a bunch of odd fighting games like Battle Arena Toshinden and Virtua Fighter. These were some of my favorites to play, and right now, the fighting genre is my favorite genre of all time.

We finally caved and got a PS2 at some point. For me, the leap between 8-bit graphics and the PS2's processing power at the time was absolutely mind-blowing. The first game we played on PS2 was Spider-Man, the one based off the first Sam Raimi film.

It was after this point that my dad and I sought to collect pretty much every video game console, except for the Xbox, because the Xbox sucks. Even today I still hate the Xbox, and though, funnily enough, my dad bought us a modded Xbox with a bunch of old 8-bit and 16-bit ROMs loaded onto it, I don't see myself ever owning an Xbox One.

But we do have basically everything else. Commodore 64, Intellivision, Colecovision, the Vectrex, the Color TV Game, both Odysseys, Atari 7800, you name it. Not to mention all the handhelds.

Also, fuck PC gaming.

I wish I was anosmic.
Advantages?
Not being able to smell.

I don't know, I think that's advantageous in it and of itself. I won't even eat food because of the way it offends my nose at times. I could do without taste, too. It would be a lot easier to maintain veganism, because even if it happens to smell good, that probably just means it's really unhealthy for you.

I never understood the appeal of skating games. All you really do is dick around, which gets old after like... ten minutes. Or am I missing something?

If Microsoft didn't make it, it would've been made by someone else. I don't see much reason to be too aghast by it all.
