PS4 took me a full hour to download and install a 1GB Bloodborne update. On the Xbox One, I just downloaded and installed a full 800 MB system update in 15 minutes and am now wrapping up a 6 GB Shadow of War update at 5MB/s in under 20 minutes. What is this? Does the PS4 just suck when it comes to downloading like the PS3 did or is there something else going on here?
it's probably you multi-gig updates take no more than 10-20 minutes for me on ps4, and my internet is decent at best

I've gotta say, the PS4 is pretty damn slow to update and download stuff. I'm on wired connection and this is pretty abysmal when compared to my Xbox and PC. It's like 30 minutes per GB at least.

Rose's #deep thought after saving Finn is still retarded, and actually pretty funny considering that the First Order immediately blows open the door after she says it and they all would have been slaughtered if Luke didn't show up. It doesn't make sense for Holdo not to tell Poe the plan considering she knows he's a loose-cannon and will make up his own plan if he can't find one to follow (which fucked EVERYTHING up for them).
in thinking about it, rose's little moment towards the end was probably the dumbest part of the movie for me criticizing character actions and saying they don't make sense is a tricky criticism of a movie, because bad leaders do exist in real life, as well as good leaders who make bad or ill-advised decisions i can personally see why holdo withheld the plans from poe—he was recently demoted for being a crazy insubordinate hothead, which understandably cost him a lot of trustworthiness in her eyes—and though it ultimately was a mistake for her to do so, that's just kinda the way the cookie crumbles sometimes i make really bad chess moves and then i ask "why the fuck did i do that," but hindsight is 20/20

It's an obvious retcon; a throwaway line isn't a precedent for anything.
But I do rescind my complaint, knowing that the explanation in the movie was bullshit. And hopefully it's never used again.
it would be a retcon if star wars made it a point to say that technology is fixed and never improves
