It's well known that you have terrible taste in nearly everything, so I'd be more concerned if you liked Azula.

I get that.

Has nothing to do with drugs.
I don't need help to "expand my mind". The stuff I think about day in and day out, you would never even dream of.
Yep. What's your point? I DON'T need help to expand my mind.

When I "think myself to death" (pretty stupid term, OP), I always eventually come up with a solution. I just figured it meant, "heavy, prolonged, deep contemplation". I missed the part in the OP where the dumbass said that pot helped him. Pot wouldn't help me. My mind couldn't be any more open than it is now. The stuff I think about day in and day out, you would never even dream of. And I don't need fucking drugs to do it.

i'm not crazy on the fitness thing, okay

i just figure it wouldn't hurt to go to the gym every weekend

whatever way you exercise is fine with me, if that's what you're asking me
i just don't think sports are worth the effort

if you wanna be strong, have a better reason to be strong than just wanting your team to win the superbowl

The Flood / Re: Athletes of Sep7agon

Verby how the fuck are any of us gonna exercise?
How do you exercise?
Tell me right now.
i lift from time to time

sorry, i wouldn't consider it a sport
weightlifting is a-okay with me

Why is competition not good?
It's a natural part of our being.

Literally every human competes in some way.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argumentum_ad_populum

it's not productive
if it's not productive, it's not good

it's not bad
but it's not good either

you're not actually accomplishing anything
Quote
That's not true. Because you can get a job in sports, become an athlete and make money.
what does that have to do with anything

that doesn't give sports any meaning
Quote
Well sure there is. But it's entertainment nonetheless. People enjoy watching it so the NHL continues to ice hockey teams.
because people are idiots, yes
i'm not impressed
Quote
And you still haven't addressed how it's more fun than running on a treadmill.
because it's such a minor point

meat tastes good
doesn't mean i'm gonna eat it

Sports are a way in which we compete.
It gives us fun while competing in a semi-meaningful way.
and it's not just to say "i win" but it's also for entertainment.
The NHL, NBA etc...
It's also a more fun way to get exercise than running on a treadmill.
competition isn't good

"semi-meaningful"--no, it has no meaning
that's your ego talking

there's more productive and less harmful forms of entertainment
So what are we talking about then, if that's not what you're talking about?
productivity

you can be in shape without playing sports
Quote
Big deal. People recover and keep playing, because they love the sport.
some people's injuries are permanent
do you realize that?

they spend months and months and months of their lives training, building their bodies
and one injury can destroy your entire career
all that they lived for

For the fun and the thrill? >__>

Oh great, now you're gonna tell me why that's wrong/stupid.
you bet your ass

there's more productive and less harmful ways to have fun

you know it
i know it
why do i have to say it

43259
No, Killing yourself/her is not an option.
Says who?

Not that I'd kill myself. But if you're going to start excluding options, why should I answer you at all?
