right, okay

so just where do people get free will out of that? that's the part that fucks me over

The Flood / Re: What part, if any, of my personality is "Flanderised"?
« on: February 06, 2015, 04:26:55 PM »
eh, that's not exactly what flanderization is--and it's difficult to apply in real life

i guess if i were to flanderize you, you would be... an angry, Sophisticated as Hell closet zionist or some shit

that's flanderization--exaggerated to the point where it no longer resembles the original character in terms of personality

and apparently that mistranslation affected my own perception of what the principle states, because what you end up hearing from a lot of avid quantum theory supporters is that it supports free will, "because anything could be behind that door", so that means we have free will. Apparently.

which is just horseshit--is that the mistranslation you're referring to?

i'm just regurgitating what i hear

does the idea that we don't know what's happening need to be explained
are we not already aware of that

what am i missing here

No, it isn't.

if you're gonna insult someone, it shouldn't be in the form of a question
because then i can just say, "no"

your obsession is pathetic

please post it, or at least parts of it
Oh, what's that? You wanna go out, you say? Huh.

*wait for response*

Hmm. You know, that's all fine and dandy with me, but you see... I'm kinda confused! You see, you didn't seem all too interested with me last year. Or the year before. Or the year before that. Or the year before that. I mean, you've known me all this time--you never made any effort to talk with me, you never just sat down to chat, or even say "hi". Now you're asking me out? Why's that?

*wait for response--cut her off*

Oh, I get it! You saw me with my shirt off the other day, huh? Is that it? Is that why? Is that why you're all into me now?

*if not in a public place, take off shirt*
*add pregnant pauses when necessary*

This is what you like about me, huh. Well, let me tell you something--this is gonna BLOW your fucking MIND--but I am the exact same person that I used to be four years ago. Sure, have I changed slightly since then? Yeah, we all have. But all in all, I'm ultimately the same person, with the same exact interests. What makes you think that just because I'm all fit and in shape now, that must mean I'm a different person? Or do you actually want to "get to know me", as if you didn't have months of chances over the past four years?

Nah, you don't care about shit. All you care about is my appearance. You shallow cunt. Did you ever take a moment to consider how it would work out? Are you at all surprised that I take great offense to the fact that you're only noticing me now after I quote/unquote "look better" to you? Did you expect everything in your life to go your way? Well, guess what. You're not gonna have it your way this time.

I probably could've said "yes" and fucked you on day one, couldn't I? Yeah, because that's all you're interested in. But I'm not gonna do that, because I have some fucking self-respect. You're a cheap dime-store whore, and just looking at you spend your shitty fucking life just getting drunk on the weekends and blowing every guy you see makes me hate my generation. HATE it. I'm getting so fucking pissed just looking at you. Get out of my sight. And yeah, take that as a "no".

so yeah, just to be clear, i would never actually say any of that to anyone if they asked me out, but i mean, as a writer, i tend to do this sort of thing a lot--it's called a "script story" or a "sketch story"

like, that sort of thing is what i'd have written in a novel or short story--most likely the latter

i also wrote this as a junior in high school, and looking back, it's not quite as devastating as i remember it being at the time that i wrote it, but it's still kinda funny

i actually have a speech of rejection prepared for any hypothetical female who would ever ask me out just because she liked my hypothetical muscles

i wouldn't actually deliver it, but i'd want to, and it's quite devastating

The Flood / Re: How many on you fuckers actually exercise?
« on: February 06, 2015, 03:14:01 PM »
Theres really ZERO reason to exercise.
never would have expected you to say that

the only reason that i do exercise:

if i ever train myself enough that i achieve something of a build, i can prove to people that having muscle doesn't really do anything for you, and is a waste of time and effort

Serious / Re: Is the moon there when nobody looks?

Well, you're the first person who's made any such concession. Every other discussion I've ever had about this was with the other guy trying to tell me that it is undeterministic.

You're familiar with Schrödinger's cat, yes?

Serious / Re: Is the moon there when nobody looks?
« on: February 06, 2015, 03:02:03 PM »
Do you have anything to qualify that statement?
Logic. Hard determinism. There is no randomness in the universe--you just didn't take every variable into account.
So it appears random.

But in reality, everything that happen was ordained to happen by Newton's laws of motion.

couple weeks ago, i tried doing 100 sit-ups and push-ups every night, but after awhile, it just felt pointless

The Flood / Re: According to this shit, I'm not very autistic
« on: February 06, 2015, 02:46:34 PM »
That autism test is one of the most accurate tests you can take for autism beyond a professional diagnosis.
As long as you're honest. You're aware of the cognitive bias where some people will tend to project who they want to be onto the quiz rather than who they really are.

I amend my statement to "the uncertainty principle is fucking bullshit."

I don't wanna act like I know everything about quantum physics, but... there is no uncertainty in the universe.

Serious / Re: Is the moon there when nobody looks?
« on: February 06, 2015, 02:32:33 PM »
Quantum theory is utter fucking bullshit.

Yes, obviously the moon is there regardless of if we look at it.
Yes, if a tree falls in a forest, and no one's around to hear it, it does make a sound.

OH

that one time someone photoshopped Jeff the Killer's face onto Azula's face
that was GOLDEN

but apparently class was faking that whole thing, so it's ruined

nothing stands out

i guess the twenty-seventh time ember used focus blast and missed, maybe
but that wasn't his fault

ummm

usually, i make myself laugh with my own snark
like, i'll post something during a fight, and i'll just sit back and say to myself, "yeah, see how he likes that one"

I'm boycotting the N3DS.

Which is funny, because I said I was boycotting the Wii U a year ago, but... now I own one, but...
This is different.

The Flood / Re: Autism quiz
« on: February 06, 2015, 01:42:39 PM »
i think the only people whose autism is anything out of the ordinary is when they like... you know, the hand-flapping, the spinning, the mumbling to oneself--it's called "stimming"

normal people stim, too, but we just call it being "fidgety"
like, drumming your fingers, spinning pencils around, and bouncing your foot in class

42864
The Flood / Re: Autism quiz
« on: February 06, 2015, 01:38:43 PM »
really, the only genuinely autistic traits that i can think of that i have are like

- i love love love to to collect useless information, organize it, and just... look at it (the Pokétourney's scoreboad is a great example, but it has the added bonus of actually being useful on top of being very stimulating for me)
- sometimes when talking to people, i speak at length about minutiae that no one cares about except me, and it takes me awhile to figure out that i'm actually boring the fuck out of the person i'm talking to

but people do that to me all the time
like, i never dare ask one of my best friends about anything football related

lest i commence an hour long one-sided conversation about various aspects of football that i neither understand nor care anything about, and i'm expressing so much through body language and vocal tone that i don't care, but HE GOES ON AND ON AND ON ABOUT IT

I took it.

I'm thinking they want to see if they should change the site to something similar to B.old.
Hence the Sep7agon questions.
I doubt that. Daz is just a ninja. He's not a developer, nor does he work at Bungie. Last time I checked.

when a scyther fucks a garchomp: pretty in pink edition
i was watching some replays, and i noticed you used a scyther a couple times
thought that was pretty cool

was there a thing behind that, or did you just want to use a scyther
