Dug, the forum diety has a few worshippers here. Why did I choose such an avatar? I think the original image captures the blissful ignorance of dogs nicely, the thing also looks stoned out of it's mind.. which gave rise to the 2nd iteration. The third one on rotation is a thanksgiving themed pic I forgot to take off.
