No one's saying anything about watching the entire series. There comes a point where it's just like... "okay, this is OBVIOUSLY not going to get any better."

That's usually by, like, the fifth episode. If a show can't hold my interest beyond the fifth episode, it's a terrible show.

Well... duh. Obviously, at some point, I'm gonna have to watch all that shit. I've seen enough Naruto to know it sucks. Same with Bleach, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, and... basically every anime that was on Adult Swim, including Inuyasha. So I already have a great deal of them down.

I was just talking about how Naoto looks like a boy, because she does. In fact, I thought she WAS a boy. It seems to be a recurring theme with SMT/Persona characters--all the boys look really feminine, and all the girls look like feminine boys. Every single time I see a character from the franchise, they aren't the gender that initially assume they are. It fucks with my brain.

Nothing about that is remotely similar to "I hate anime." Which I do, but that's not what I was talking about.

The issue is that what most people recommend is what they like based on assumptions. However, that's dislike. If you are so bent on hating something material as anime then you are just wasting your life.
