Don't ever use Fantano's shit meme rating system again. i didn't know anthony fantano invented number ratings Tran sition.
If you've given this album a listen, what did you think of it? Did you love it? Did you hate it? Why? What do you think I should review next?
And that's it.
Anthony Fantano. The Powers That B. Jenny Death. Forever.

Probably that ethical constraints hold back humans in scientific advancement in several areas and that such things as genetic engineering in humans should not only be allowed, it should be widely encouraged. I'm talking like paying people to allow their future child's genetic makeup to be altered with experimental genes, recommend for people to allow alteration of their future child with the genes that have shown to have a correlation with an increase of grey matter and higher intellect, allow for those parents with genetic disorders to change the makeup of their future child to find cures to those genetic disorders. Hell, I even support the idea of "designer babies" for those who want them.
i mean, this is either the best idea ever, or the worst idea ever given how humans function, i'm tending towards the more pessimistic end

Euthanasia should be allowed with humans under consent That's hardly radical when euthanasia is legal in several first world countries.
except in the US (aka the only country that matters l0l)

Euthanasia should be allowed with humans under consent i think you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who disagrees with that unless they're super religious, maybe

If we last long enough, we'll (the species) hopefully achieve apotheosis <_____< which was the initial question will we ever achieve apotheosis? and what exactly comes after apotheosis? endless masturbation? a perpetual orgasm? so maybe rename it the apotheotic treadmill and yeah, i think the idea of apotheosis in terms of the human condition is gonna be a fundamentally flawed and sort of futile ideal, in the sense that we're not even satisfied with the luxuries we have today

Probably Transhumanism, not everyone takes kindly to the revelation that walking sacks of meat are inferior vessels for the mind. but what about the hedonic treadmill
will we ever truly be satisfied, even if trashumanism becomes a reality?
i highly doubt it, hence my beliefs

It's not too radical, at least for this community.

I dunno. When the song lyrics fit the characters' actions exactly, it feels kinda stilted and cheesy.

being someone who has a belief that is predicated under the notion that the human condition is utter shit and can only produce pain and suffering at the end of the day for no real gain, it does sound like a philosophy that could make friends with efilism if only i could get past the personal hurdle of me not wanting anything man-made to be a part of my physiology--at all

kendrick lamar is a straight-edge, "conscious" rapper who raps about relevant issues as opposed to sex, drugs, or money
what reason would i willingly or "purposely" choose to dislike or be disappointed by his music
i'm asking people to take the album down to a more realistic notch so that i won't be disappointed
41450
« on: March 19, 2015, 10:04:30 PM »
So you're purposely expecting something to be unrealistically good so that when you listen to it you'll be disappointed? And of course you're aware that doing this is just going to guarantee that you'll be disappointed. So do you consciously try to get yourself to hate things to help justify anti-natalism or are you not even aware of what you're doing?
yeah you didn't overanalyze that at all

i haven't listened to a single song by kendrick lamar
but i've never seen more praise for a new record it's "game-changingly good", according to one of my buddies
even anthony fantano gave it a 10/10
i just wanna make sure that it's indeed "that good" before i walk into it all cynical
