Oh, and I would probably bet money on this movie beating out Avatar for the highest grossing film of all time.

If I had to make a prediction, I think it's going to be really divisive.
In the same way that Dark Knight Rises was divisive. There's gonna be a camp of people who will say Jar Jar Abrams is a genius, and he saved the Star Wars franchise. Then there's gonna be the camp of people who think he killed it more than Lucas ever did.
It's gonna get on IMDB's top 250 for a good year, and then it's gonna drop like a rock. After two years, it's rating will be 7.5-8.0. I'm gonna say 7.7.
As for Rotten Tomatoes?... I don't know, they're always unpredictable.

Don't give a shit about Mad Max, personally.
I hope Star Wars sucks. I really do. Just to spite the fans.

Dragonite is the best. I think Dragonite is still OU, actually.

Ninjask and Shedinja.
Gimmicky as hell, but oh my gosh they're so fun if your opponent isn't prepared. Does a Focus Sash work on Shedinja?
You know it. I like Ninjask better, though, just because I still to this day don't understand why it's NU. Okay, NOW I do... Sound-based moves can break through Substitute now. But in Gen V, I used him in my rain team to help boost up my Toxicroak. It was tits.

um, i don't think anyone is under the impression that the "intelligence" is real, and not just illusory
they're just pointing out that some illusions are clearly better/worse than others to say that it's all "smoke and mirrors" is tautological

monopoly is actually the best board game ever
putting aside scrabble and boggle because i don't consider them board games
Well Chess technically is the best board game. But if you want more recent then Monopoly.
i would agree, but chess is another weird example of a board game too like, when i think of "board game", i think of linear paths and cards and sitting around with your family chess isn't exactly that

Like, not really?
If anything, my Internet persona is me, cubed. But I think that's more a result of the people I choose to surround myself with. Offline, though I'm quiet, I tend to be the dominant person in a conversation, just like I am here, but I can't say I've ever really went out of my way to insult or hurt someone's feelings, if I ever find myself in the middle of an argument with someone--because people tend to be a lot more courteous offline.
I'm sure if people acted as stupid offline as they do online, I'd probably be just as vituperative as well.

pokemon is actually one of the better examples, because even though there's a lot of RNG, you can still win and have it be largely based on your wits (i don't think competitive battling would be anywhere near as popular if it was all just bullshit)
there are far worse examples out there
