I'd say more like 2-4 years..
Thing isn't even two years old yet.
Really?... It feels like it's been SO LONG since it came out.

But still, there was only a three year gap between the PS3's fat/slim models, so, I don't think Aria's too off base there.

I, for one, am not a big fan of bringing series back from the dead just for the sake of it. And it just seems to me like that's exactly what they're doing.

Lot of Star Fox fans.

Is it because you all honestly enjoy the franchise, or because you want it resurrected for the sake of being resurrected?
I'm getting the latter vibe from a lot of people.

To my understanding, no one really thinks any of the games are spectacular. Star Fox 64 is just a meme machine, and Nintendo knows that very well, hence the milking of the phrase "do a barrel roll".

Also, PS4 Slim when?

The whole reason I didn't get a PS4 is because I was trying to be smart--instead of sinking another hundred on some improved model, wait for the improved model. And it still ain't here.

But animals totally can't suffer, guys. Totally. They don't know true pain at all. Not like us humans.
You sound weak, and in nature, the weak deserve death.
But not in any rationally constructed system.

I... don't have any!

Super Mario Maker, I guess.

Horizon gets points just for not pissing me off, but am I realistically gonna get it? I don't know.

It also fails to meet the criterion of "beautiful".

Sorry. The game is ugly as fuck.

I don't think anyone's said that. It's more about the fact that they're animals, not humans.
Listen to those screams. Do you think it's having a good time?

Do you honestly think a human would feel any better or worse if he was in its position instead?

The thing about Dark Souls is that it's retarded. It contains stupid shit that makes it impossible for me to like the game.

Like the ability to make the game less fun for other people.

It's for retards.

A compelling, immersive, and beautiful game built around heuristics.
isn't every game based around people learning?
Heuristics is specifically the art of teaching oneself how to play through the gameplay itself.

That means no tutorials, and no people in-game telling you how to do things.
Just subtle, environmental hints that allow you to gather the information yourself.

See: Super Metroid.

They were creepy, but watchable when I was little. Now they just seem too disturbing. I guess I became a huge pussy.

I blame the liberal agenda.
Have you seen the one where he gets "pregnant"?

And the latest one, where he celebrates his birthday.

They're the best yet. :^)

Apparently it was a hack or something but still
still what

if it was a hack, which it obviously was, then it doesn't warrant a thread

I mean, this is particularly insulting because this is right after Mortal Kombat made the decision to make their female characters more proportionally realistic (ie. not overly-sexualized). But of course, the franchise that I happen to subscribe to won't follow suit.

Wow, it's almost as if nature is brutal.
Pfft, no way. Those aren't screams of agony you're hearing--that's just the only way they know how to express their satisfaction over being part of life's great cycle. Praise Gaia.

A game being 'good' is very objective.
Even though you meant "subjective", I do still think some games are objectively bad.
I think you  need to stop talking.  Totes
