within the next, "value is entirely subjective"

Umm. There's gotta be something.

I would say the word "cunt", but I sort of embrace its meme status now.

The Flood / Re: How does something ruin your childhood
« on: June 27, 2015, 12:16:24 PM »
i don't think it's that difficult to understand the sentiment being expressed, to be honest

it's not that things can literally ruin childhoods
they simply tarnish or taint the innocent/childlike image of those memories

is it that difficult to see why that would be undesirable? idk

35862
The Flood / Re: How does something ruin your childhood
« on: June 27, 2015, 12:14:06 PM »
They execute the memories or something.
But they don't though.
The things you have memories of are still the same.
put some cyanide in your glass of water

still the same glass of water, right

35863
the only problem is that these characters can be difficult to use effectively

fox is simply the easiest one to use, in my opinion

35864
oh no, there's all sorts

mario and dr. mario can use their capes (side+b) to reflect
pit and dark pit have mirrors (down+b)
palutena has a mirror (can't remember the motion)
mewtwo can use his side+b

and while they're not reflectors, these characters can stuff projectiles as well:

mr. g&w can use his bucket (down+b) to store projectiles and spit them all back at once
ness and lucas have their PSI magnets (down+b) making it so energy-based projectiles heal you
rosalina can deflect projectiles, but she can't send them back to your opponent, as far as i know

35865
or you could pick up a character like fox, who has a reflector (down+b)

and then projectiles will never be a problem again

35866
this changes nothing

there are ways to avoid projectiles--just experiment

you can usually dissipate weaker projectiles simply by punching it

35867
because you haven't learned to avoid them yet
get good

^
this is how you do it, dark souls fanboys

squee

what a comical and endearing scene

she's indirectly referring to her breasts--isn't that just so cute and funny and necessary to the plot

and not embarrassing and/or cringe-worthy at all

because FE's fanbase is evidently comprised of pathetic turbovirgins

and it most definitely is in japan--they have this population problem, so they're trying their damndest in getting their younger population interested in sex by exploiting sexual imagery in the media like you've never seen

even though it has been shown to be vastly ineffective, and, in some cases, counterproductive

basically we need to nuke japan again, is what i'm saying

but i mean, the fact that they're putting it in the game to begin with is just disgusting, and i think that's a more pertinent discussion to be having

like... nothing about this is okay
