I'm going with Woodrow Wilson due to him destroying the first amendment during WW1 and he permitted segregation.
i would've mentioned the federal reserve act myself, but

I never get your stance on mods, because to me, it's like this: You go to the store and buy a wheelbarrow, but when you get back you notice that it was sold to you with a bad wheel. You already have a spare wheelbarrow wheel, so you replace it, making the original product better. What's so bad about additions? About improvements? i don't like your example because wheelbarrows aren't exactly art--at least, certainly not in the same way that a video game is there's nothing wrong with improving things--and if you want to mod games, i'm not going to stop you i would just never do it, because i think of it as an insult "oh, your game's okay, but it would be a lot better if i added a bunch of retarded/unnecessary crap in it" i just prefer to appreciate the game how it is, and experience it as intended

Dude, calm the fuck down. ✋🏽 The average person doesn't have the time to actively engage in politics and philosophy. just like you couldn't have taken the time to read some of the responses thus far to find that he already basically addressed this point if the average person can't honestly make time to educate themselves on the most important and real things in the world they live in, then yeah, meta's titular description is quite accurate--they're parasites

Except the devs allowed this to happen, and even supported Halo: Custom Edition. officially endorsed mods, i have no problem with i don't agree with their decision, but if the devs support it, i guess i can't say anything if i were a dev, i would never endorse any mods, ever

FDR single handedly saved us from the Great Depression...are you kidding me, Meta?
The New Deal prolonged the Great Depression, chiefly through artificially inflating nominal wages.
Pretty much all of the recovery was due to monetary easing.
Let's not forget his creation of the grand theft ring known as "Social Security"
and provoking japan's attack on pearl harbor :^) i know it resulted in the best event in all of world history, but i just love conspiracy theories

You mean me?
the only reason why i don't like mods is because you're screwing with someone else's art even if the devs intended to add more to the game, i think the finished product should stay the finished product
Would this still apply if it's broken and has no post-release support? (I.e. "Unofficial Patches")
for me, yes a game that's broken on release is probably not a game worth playing anyway

But yeah, the evidence we have, both theoretical and empirical, is quite strongly against socialism as a workable economic structure. Hell, Sanders isn't even a socialist. All I see him saying is "I'll raise taxes on the rich and stop outsourcing jobs"; nothing about a labour-run economy. The guy's just a populist who's adopted an ill-fitting label.
i don't see anything wrong with that, considering that if he were to adopt heavy socialist policy into his platform, and reform the entire economy, he's not gonna win much support at all it would be like if i were to run and started implementing anti-natalist policy, like, "a bill to make illegal all methods of procreation"--it would be stupidi'd have to take baby steps

Not sure why you think you're so in tune with what America needs when you don't even live here. I was gonna question him about that in the other thread, too, but then I figured that most people in America don't even know what America needs, so... I'd wager that Meta's probably more in-tune with American politics than most Americans are.

don't hate on people because they're not into what you're into
freedom is a two way street
I'm sure you're familiar with the term "civic duty". Though not compulsory, I believe we have a civic duty to delve somewhat into both philosophy and politics. Discussions of ethics, in particular, are absolutely imperative if we want to have a functioning society. Leaving it up to a small handful of people who barely know what they're doing is... precarious at best.
