All right. Since I have absolutely no desire whatsoever to train three Magikarp simultaneously, I decided I would just pick the strongest out of the three. I'll put the other two in the Daycare when I make it there.
Based on my calculations (by simply averaging the six stats together), the stats are as follows: Ol'Greg: 13.6 (repeating) GyaraCUNT: 14.3 (repeating) Azathoth: 13 However, Azathoth is one level weaker than the other two--so if I level her up, she still may very well be stronger, but we'll see. Next up is Granite Cave. I don't really want to catch another Zubat (even though I like Zubat, I've used them far too often in the past, and they're a bitch to train), so I'll probably use a Repel or something and run down into the lower floor where there's more unique stuff available (particularly Mawile). I still might end up catching a Zubat, though. I went with that strategy, but unfortunately, I forgot to make it so Grovyle was my lead. So even though I used a Repel, I encountered something that was about the same level as the member that WAS at the front of my party: Azathoth. Whoops <_< Anyways, I encountered this thing: ![]() It's a Makuhita. Fighting sumo wrestler type. Male. This'll be the final catch for the night, I think. 34114
Gaming / Re: Nuzlocke thread« on: July 29, 2015, 06:06:39 PM »WhatIt never occurred to me that you probably don't know what a nuzlocke is... basically it's a set of self-imposed rules to make the single player games more challenging 1. you can only catch the first thing you see in each area and nothing else (if you mess up, too bad) 2. everything that faints is considered dead, and must be released (or put into a box labelled "RIP" or "Cemetery" in the PC) there are lots of rules you can add to make it even harder, but i like to keep things vanilla sometimes i'll do a "natural-locke", which is basically an extra rule that prevents you from using TMs the name "nuzlocke" itself is derived from the webcomic that started the fad (it's quite funny; i recommend it) they're pretty fun, but because i wanted to try something new, i thought i'd let sep7agon participate in the naming of all my teammates--but only if you roll a 7 at the end of all your posts here 34115

No, what you gotta do is euthanize them. That way, you can eat them, and it's completely ethical. Because there's no pain!

Magikarp #2 (Dewford is surrounded by water routes):
![]() It's a girl again. I'll just have an entire army of Gyarados, I don't care. (There's also a smaller chance of me catching a Tentacool <_<) 34126

Bobby just keeps picking up Nuggets. I love it.
Oh, also, poop evolved. New catch: ![]() Probably gonna be at least two more Magikarp, too <_< It's a female, by the way. I haven't been stating their genders. 34128

I wouldn't bother, but I don't really see why people make a big deal out of it.
People always complain about their hair, and it's like, well, there's an easy solution... 34130

That's probably one of the worst types of person. The type who bitches about some problem, talks about how the current solution is bullshit, but fails to present any specific alternatives himself. Yet thinks he's at all worthy to have a conversation with on the subject. 34131
Gaming / Re: Nuzlocke thread« on: July 29, 2015, 08:48:09 AM »Oh please, Bobby's a fucking badass :^)He is, actually. Picked up a second Nugget, beat a Youngster's Geodude after getting four straight flinches off of it with Headbutt, and tanked a critical hit Rock Throw from Roxanne's Geodude with only 1 HP left. but c'man i've never been so unlucky with crits before--and that's saying a lot lol 34132

Quote How about the fact that heterosexual people don't kill themselves because they don't have gender dysphoria and that they can have kids?"We don't kill ourselves." That's not a benefit. That's like saying that one of the benefits of your job is that there aren't any tigers trying to maul you outside. It's true, and it's a good thing, but is that a real benefit? No. It's not. Serious / Re: Let's get something straight.« on: July 29, 2015, 08:05:21 AM »It's simple logic. Just because you disagree doesn't mean it's wrong."Life isn't a disease, because without life, there would be no diseases." I'll let you work out for yourself why that makes NO sense. Don't strain yourself. Quote Believe it or not there's nothing beneficial in homosexuality or transgenderism.I never said there was. There is also nothing beneficial about heterosexuality and cisgenderism. 34136
Serious / Re: Depression Vent(Yeah I know)« on: July 29, 2015, 07:45:51 AM »No offense but there's a lot of cringe in this thread. Some of yall need to just get off the internet and reevaluate how you live your lives. Or work on self esteem.Wow! It's like after reading this post, all of my problems just seem so small and insignificant! Thanks, Lord Starch! You know, you should tell this to everyone with depression! "Reevaluate how you live your life" and "Work on self-esteem!" No, really, that's absolutely beautiful. Put that shit on a fucking T-shirt.
Maybe put them on some offshoot of the Livestrong bracelets. That'll sell millions!
If I'da known it was all that simple, I woulda stopped being depressed YEARS ago! You're going places, man. You're gonna be the next Dr. Phil. I mean, everything you said--it's all so nuanced, so erudite, so considerate of the complexity of the issue, but most of all, it's... Fucking retarded. I mean, wow. It's this sort of glib, vapid ignorance that only makes me hate people even more--Self-esteem is probably the last thing I need to "work on". Whatever the fucking fuck that even means. "Work on self-esteem"? Please, describe to me in your own words what you THINK that means. It'll be hilarious. Needless to say, your post lacks the substance, sophistication, and tact required to tackle such an issue. This is the exact type of mongoloid idiocy that I was trying to preempt. What are you accomplishing by posting this utter shit here? Wait, don't answer that--I already know. Never post on this board again. 34137

It's why I often say that, when it comes to the optimism/pessimism dichotomy, pessimism is the rational outlook.
Even though it's often described as irrational. Realism, of course, being the pseudo-intellectual meme outlook. Realism is for pessimists who lack the cock to just admit that they're pessimists. |
