I'm getting so tired of people talking shit about Drake. What the fuck does this guy have to do to please people?
make good music

but to be honest, he doesn't need to make good music for me to respect him as an artist

and a big part of what helps me respect an artist, even if i don't like his art, is if he makes it all himself

...but he doesn't even do that

Like bug resists fighting
because they ought to pick on someone their own size

edit:
actually it might be for the same reason that flying resists fighting, come to think of it

We need to eat lots of meat because it's the most nutritious substance and that way we'll have plenty of energy to exploit and impregnate women (because that's all they're good for) so we can have a ton of kids.

All right, I'm assuming Lost Coast is unnecessary/non-canon, since it was taken out of the game. Not even sure where I could play it.

Why have I never heard of Half-Life 2: Deathmatch? I guess no one plays it.

Why can I never think of witty Pokemon names when I'm trying to?
that's fine

most of the names that have been come up with so far are anything but witty

When you hit a baseball into a window, it's gonna break.

I mean, come on--it's not difficult to contrive that all events in the universe are merely the result of a long, unending series of complex chain reactions and cause-and-effect relationships based on the laws of motion.

You don't think. Your brain thinks. There's no such thing as "you" or "I"--we're just brains. When we say things like, "I think," we should instead be obligated to say "my brain thinks", because that would be a more accurate statement. Your brain thinks as a result of being affected by a particular type of stimulus, and that's all that's happening.

And that's Half-Life 2.

I'll see if I can get a review written up some time this weekend, to flesh out all my thoughts.
Then I suppose I can move on to Episodes One & Two.

The next bit is hell. I recommend quicksaving every time you live past a skirmish.
By "the next bit", did you mean Our Benefactors? Or did you mean the part I just got done with?

Because "Follow Freeman!" was pretty hellish.

Edit after post-game:
Yep, you were talking about the strider level. That shit was pretty intense, and I thought I didn't like it at the time, but looking back, it was pretty awesome.

Yeah, I have a bad feeling about this.

take all my weapons, but supercharge my gravity gun?... sure, i'll take that

I AM SO POWERFUL OH MY GOD

Man, fuck these striders.

Man, I really get bummed out when part of my squad dies. :-/
Especially if it's a woman <_<

Okay, I fucked up the last strider. I think. Some fanfare played when I killed it, so I'm assuming that was the last one. At least, for this area, anyway.

I dunno where the fuck to go now.

I should start playing again, I think

i stopped because i started to play to win, and to beat the game, instead of just wanting to know the rest of the story

but if i don't finish it now, i probably won't come back to it for months, so <_<

All right. Leveled up Azathoth, and it turns out that GyaraCUNT is stronger than her by a third of a point. Guess I'll take her, then. The other two will be boxed until I can find a more efficient and less time-consuming method of training them.

Otherwise, I officially have a full team now.

The Flood / Re: Lessons movies Taught You as a Kid
« on: July 29, 2015, 07:18:08 PM »
I think a small part of what conditioned my trust-no-one mentality came from Terminator 2.

Just knowing that the T-1000 inhabited the persona of a police officer really fucked with my head as a kid. The bad guys I was used to in those days were card-carrying villains, with big evil mustaches, a boisterous, hammy presence, and everything else that basically said, "HEY! I'M EVIL!"

The T-1000 was a cop. One of the good guys--the sort of person you and I were taught to trust and look up to back in school. That movie completely shattered that whole notion--and I kinda love it for that.

I think Mawile maks sense. It has a big-ass steel bear-trap-looking thing on its head.

As for Jirachi, uh... I dunno. I don't let it bother me too much.
