Or, hell, play on Showdown. The perfect team is already available to you.
Why do you have to go and ruin the actual fucking game for yourself?...

I don't see how speeding up the game would make you any more over leveled than in if you just decided to train all that time. It wouldn't if you said, "Okay, I'm gonna stop speeding now." But why the fuck would you? Why would you just stop there? If you want to be over leveled you can be over leveled, emulator or no But it actually takes a lot more effort without it. I have no respect for cheating. At anything. Ever.

How does that guarantee anything...?
You still need to pick the right moves, breed the right Pokemon, face the right opponents... If you're EV training while cheating (which you've conveniently ignored--you can't defend the fact that it's cheating), what the fuck do you do? Moderate yourself? At some point, you're gonna become overleveled, and you'll just be able to steamroll over everyone before you even reach Pewter fucking City. Unless you literally tell yourself, "Okay, I'm gonna stop cheating here, because I think I'm getting too overleveled." If you're gonna cheat, fucking cheat. Go all the way. Get a level 100 Charizard before the game even fucking begins. Why wouldn't you if you're just gonna cheat anyway?

wat Was I unclear? By playing at 500%, you are cheating. You can't do that in the original games and that's not how they were intended to be played. It nullifies the entire point of the game, too. If you can just guarantee that your team is perfect, why even fucking play? You've already won. But instead of earning it, and grinding it out like everyone else, you're gonna cheat. Sorry, I think that's really stupid.

Though, once you get used to EV-training your 'Mons at 500% speed, it's hard to go back to regular gameplay.
See, that's just ruining the game at that point. Why even play if you can just guarantee success by speeding up the game (which is cheating)? Fuck that shit.

Pain is kind of important, though, it is a warning from our body that something is banjaxed. Well, I think we should be able to stop it after awhile. Like, if my leg is fractured, the only thing preventing me from taking myself to the hospital is, well, my fractured leg. It hurts when I use it. I should be able to say, "Okay, yeah, I get it, my leg is fractured. You don't have to keep 'warning' me." Instead of swimming in excruciating pain for however long. Maybe being a robot would solve that problem, but being a robot introduces an entire laundry list of its own problems. It's just a stupid idea.

Piracy is actually a big, big deal if you get found out, yeah.
Which is why I don't do it.

What's the benefit of giving money away to people who did nothing to produce it? They're providing it. A flea market that sells games ought to get compensation for providing vintage games. They're pretty easy to find, actually, but whatever. Regardless of who gets the money, an emulator cannot emulate the experience of playing a genuine, physical copy of a game.

You can't buy those games new. I don't care.

Or you can emulate anything pre-DS and just buy yourself a 3DS.
Emulate anything that came out before Diamond and Pearl (FireRed/LeafGreen/Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald).
What is an emulator and what does it do?
It's a downloadable program for your PC that allows you to emulate a game's ROM for free. It's stealing. As in, illegal. As in, bad. Don't do it if you have any self-respect.

Emulate anything that came out before Diamond and Pearl (FireRed/LeafGreen/Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald). or you could pay money for it like everyone else I can only forgive emulating Gen I. Maybe Gen II. Because a lot of times, the battery goes dry, preventing you from saving. But it's an easy fix--just replace the battery.

Why won't anyone tell me what I need to play these games?
because you can just look it up FR/LG are GBA games that can be played on a DS Lite. HG/SS are DS games that can also obviously be played on a DS Lite, as well as a 3DS. OR/AS are 3DS games. So, get yourself a DS Lite and a 3DS XL.

I'm not in the know with smash, but how come you're allowed to vote for silly stuff like that? Some Nintendo representative confirmed that any character can be voted for, as long as its a character. What people don't realize is that it's not a true ballot. Just because x character is the most requested doesn't guarantee that he'll make it. It's their game, after all. They have no obligation to actually listen to anyone--it's a suggestion bin, at best.

I'd wager it would be cybernetics. And I'm not talking just prosthetics. I mean the whole full blown deal. Every part in your body being substituted with something mechanical. that sounds like hell to me i mean, being a sack of meat is no picnic, but i'll never understand this forum's fascination with transhumanistic endeavors you'd have to make the perfect machine

Guy whines about silly characters (like Shrek) being voted for in the Smash Ballot. The sad part is that I agree with him... but the kid looks like he's 15-17.
