Why do you care about how others play their games? Because some ways are better than others, objectively. Entertainment is completely subjective; some may prefer Pokemon with cheats, does that mean that there's something wrong with them? Yes. The rest of your post is just you repeating yourself in three or four different ways, so fuck it. What you have to do is demonstrate how cheating isn't an objectively bad way to play. You're going to fail.

What are the Yellow/Emerald/Platinum games? Are they some big updated rerelease with all the monsters from the other two, or just add-ons?
The former. Except they still have some missing monsters. They're advertised as big updates, but they're basically just cash-grabs.

Wind Waker. Klonoa 2. LittleBigPlanet.
Few others, but those are the tip-top.

Someone's upset. In a world of 7.2 billion people, it is very likely that at least one of them is upset, yes. Not exactly a bold claim, though.

You're a faggot. You're wrong. Just in general--not even necessarily to the thing you just said there, but, generally speaking--chances are, if you thought about something, a problem or a quandary, you were probably wrong about it. And you'll go to your grave never having found the solution.

ITT: We state cold hard facts that, despite being ignored by the general public, are nonetheless true.o (batch asked me to make this thread)
Extraterrestrial life may not exist. Statements such as "aliens are likely to exist" are unfounded and moot, because there is no basis for which to qualify such a statement. "The universe is large" is not a compelling argument for the existence of E.T.s.

But again, nobody would care if you drank under the age of 21. I didn't care what people thought. As far as I was concerned, I broke the law--and I deserved to be punished for it. The reason I didn't go through with it is because I knew it would just look silly. But I still broke the law. Like, you're too hung up on public perception and shit. "The majority of people wouldn't care"--yeah, well, the majority of people are idiots.

I never denied that it was a crime You have repeatedly used the term "non-crime" to describe it. So, which one is it?

Which state do you live in?
I don't think it matters, but Michigan. I'm pretty sure it's 21 cross-country.

You'd have to be pretty stupid to want piracy to be more punishable and enforced after admitting that you've pirated stuff. That's literally the same as going up to a police officer and telling him you just commited a crime. What the hell is wrong with that?... If you feel remorse for your crime, why shouldn't you turn yourself in? I almost turned myself in when I drank alcohol. It's called a confession. It's called being noble.

I agree with Verb, they could beat a lot of pokémon games but had to use mods to beat Halo? If you're gonna do it, do it right. well, they technically used a mod to turn off the step-limit in the safari zone which i also thought was lame but some things are just straightup impossible

How
Da fuq
Did they beat halo?
they used mods, like using the flashlight to kill enemies.
that just nullifies the whole experiment

>Still in Asylum after 17 hours
Wow, someone beat Verb's record. :^)
actually, i've been thinking about making more of those "impressions" threads like i did with half-life 2 and i was thinking about doing dark souls at one point fallout 3 first, though

Base building. Ground Zeros/Peacewalker, Suikoden games, XCOM games, Fallout 4.
and lbp I dunno if I'd call it underrated, though. People seem to be going apeshit over base-building in Fallout 4, aren't they?... (Rightfully so. I love base-building.)

What are you trying to say here? That just because it makes a copy it isn't theft? Counterfeiting money should be legal, with that logic. Well yeah, because it's 100% true, nor is it stupid. Just take a second to think about that sentiment. "Just because it's not as important we should ignore it."
It is really stupid when you think about it.
Also yeah, this is called a fallacy of relative privation. The there-are-starving-children-in-africa logic. edit: didn't realize how badly i fucked up the quotes there, whoops

If you cannot obtain a film legally, then... Tough life.

« on: August 13, 2015, 11:42:25 PM »
Well, I haven't made any obscure, unobtainable films in the '90s. I'm talking me specifically, here. If someone refused to pay me for a film (or anything) that I worked hard on, I would be upset. And I'd probably want to choke the cunt.
But more importantly, I'd want that person arrested. Because that's what they deserve.
