It 1HK's pretty much all the enemies in the game. And the 5x scope is adequate for intense quickscoping, so you shouldn't really have any problems with it. but it has a shitty rate of fire and all other weapons do the job just fine sorry for thinking that snipers are for sniping

Don't let the difficulty confuse you. Halo CE on Normal is equal to Halo 3's Legendary difficulty.
CE on Normal is still very challenging to play.

Because on Heroic, both your damage and the enemy's damage balances out against each other. Nobody has an advantage over one another. On Normal, you still have quite a bit of a buff against the AI. Well, my original statement stands, then. That's stupid. "Heroic" should be labeled "normal" and "normal" should be labeled something else, then. The way it is now is misleading. not gonna demerit the game's score over it or anything--I know that's a nitpick, but I just don't... like that I've inadvertently made the game easier for myself due to shitty labeling oh well Gonna start playing again soon. Can't guarantee an update, because I have other stuff to be doing.
