No. Are you saying I should try it?... Because I don't see how that would make it more fun. Especially considering that I'd much rather use weapons as intended. If a gun is more fun to use in a way that's not intended, I kinda consider that a fault.
Also, I noticed that there's substantially less dialogue when playing on Heroic, so... There's literally no point in playing Heroic. At least on your first playthrough. "Meant to be played" my ass.
