centrist scum
I DONT KNOW THESE WORDS
you have liberals and conservatives on 80%

which means you're in the middle

it's not actually a terrible thing—i just kind of have a "you're either with me or against me" outlook on politics

Brothers in Arms.
ARE YOU SERIOUS!? HAHAHAHA

I was just gonna bring up the fact that the song kinda reminds me of a piece from the Mad Max: Fury Road soundtrack. Because they're both very dramatic, with lots of heavy percussion going on at the beginning to get your blood pumping, and they both build up slowly in intensity, until they reach the cathartic, triumphant climax that sounds like hope, or victory.

The kicker?

They're BOTH called Brothers in Arms.

YouTube

Except Mad Max's is way better. They're very different songs, of course, but I just think it's funny that they have the same name, on top of the similarities they already have. I wonder if it isn't a coincidence?

I haven't been able to listen to music at all, because my laptop is undergoing repairs, and my desktop's speakers are shot. Otherwise, I would have brought up some of my favorite soundtracks. And by "favorite soundtracks", I mean just one, 'cause... There's only one song that I really like in this game.

It plays pretty often early in the game—you first hear it when you're making your headlong dive into Halo after the first level. Anyone know what it's called? I bet it's a fan favorite.

If working out improved my social adeptness, allowed me to form a broader range of bonds with a more diverse group of people, and improved my communications skills (Which it did in all three manners for me)
You should have been able to do all of that without strength training. That's my argument. Strength training is a placebo.

Do people actually care about this game?

It's something I can't see people playing for more than a week at most.

Isn't nothing worthwhile to you, though?
No. Building shit for other people to use is worthwhile. Helping other people is worthwhile. Impressing other people by building yourself? That's not worthwhile. You're not actually doing anything.

Why?
because you achieve nothing of value

it is, in a phrase, a waste of time

I don't see why you view it as problematic that people are more proud and confident in their bodies if they decide to work out for whatever physique they may be trying to achieve.
i don't think it's problematic—i think it's pathetic

it's a literal non-achievement

but i mean, whatever—do your thing

i work out, too, but i don't act like it's gonna make my life any better
