there's a pretty big difference between "strongly discourage" and outright ban.
i know

i just think strongly discouraging things is pointless when you could just outright ban it

'cause no one's gonna give a fuck what you think

Oh, and people with hereditary conditions that are pretty much guaranteed to be passed down or severely harm a developing child should be strongly, strongly discouraged from ever reproducing.
why bother with saying that, though

just say "they shouldn't be allowed"--straight-up

Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I've never been more hyped for a game in my life, but after beating the story and playing the fuck out of it with my friends, I can't see myself ever coming back to it, and I've been convinced that it's easily the weakest in the series in terms of how fun it is to play.

I'll go back and play SSB64, Melee, and Smash 4. I won't go back to Brawl.

The Flood / Re: Do you have any stories of 'special' kids from your school?
« on: September 24, 2015, 08:57:27 PM »
yeah

as some of you may know, i was part of my high school's choir for three years (i sung bass)
every year, we'd have had this kid in the choir who happened to be autistic

like, REALLY REALLY autistic
hand-flapping, muttering-nonsense-to-himself autistic

and during one concert, i stood next to him, because he sung my part (and he wasn't bad)
but during the performance, usually between breaks, he would just turn around and blow right into my face

for no reason

i just kind of dealt with it the first two times
but when he did it a third time, i turned around and said "stop, please" very sternly

it made him jump, and he got really scared
i felt terrible

I can easily make another five dollars.
If you spent five dollars and made five more, you could've had ten dollars. But you don't.

Gaming / Re: Should I get MGSV for 360 this December?
« on: September 24, 2015, 08:32:09 PM »
I think people letting it decide if it's a buy or no buy is silly (I have a friend who freaked over Dark Souls 3 being 30 frames and not 60), but I think it is just a nice thing added on.

It's like having your cake and eating it too. Plus it fits some games better than others for sure, especially games with quick reaction.
for me, it's like getting a free pencil at the end of a presentation
like, "...uh, thanks?"

what you said earlier is something i can agree with entirely, though
if your game has a lot of frame-skipping and shit, then that's actually a problem that should be fixed

because that's actually something that affects the overall quality of the game
consistency is all i need

i'm just saying

i'm not saying it should be the standard
it's just a shining example of why i just don't give a fuck about a game's frame rate

Okay, what if your parents are uneducated, unmotivated or dead?
Same goes for Gaurdians.
Then you're fucked.

You can try the Internet, but there's nothing like the hands-on experience, if you ask me.

take for example the national debt

there are people in this country who need the urgency of the national debt explained to them

what the fuck are we doing with these people

I seriously can't comprehend people that prioritize social issues over economic issues.

Like wtf
because social issues are much easier to formulate an opinion on

you either care about how other people do
or you don't

economics is obviously highly esoteric and only those who actively study economics know anything about economics

not to mention, social issues are often highly emotionally charged
they hit closer to home

But none of these matter, because you should be watching The Sopranos.
yeah, i've always wanted to watch the sopranos, actually
i've always loved gangster movies

idk if it's available on netflix though

I don't mind 30 seconds but I hate it when my internet is so shitty that even the ads take ages to load, preventing me from even seeing a video about a minute long
Yeah, that sucks.

Not the ad's fault, though.

also, i noticed you don't have portable ops listed

that would be the next game released in the canon

unless you don't want to get it (even though you have peace walker listed)
Portable Ops is semi-canon; as Kojima stated, the bigger picture of events in the game are canon (Big Boss conducting various operations with his renegade FOX unit), but no the specific events within are noncanon. So in terms of playing the games in sequence, there's not really a point in playing Portable Ops considering the subjectivity of its canon status.
oh

he should still play it, though

i would, anyway

Eh, it's pretty tame compared to the other series but it's damn well worth to continue watching. Lots of things that get brought up again later on, too. I think if you can make it through the first series you're golden and won't want to stop.
what do you mean by "tame"

The Flood / Re: That's it, I'm getting AdBlock

Adblocking is a useful tool for preventing malicious ads and discourages sites from implementing them. If you don't like AdBlock then please go fuck yourself. I'm not going to have my eyes raped by cringe worthy ads and malicious pop ups just so you can get your precious ad moniez.
Then you don't deserve the Internet.
You're clearly retarded.
You clearly don't deserve the Internet.

Of season 1?

Also I meant to say why, not when

fuck
season 1

and they're not really good at explaining things
they were just like... "it just started getting boring and i stopped caring"

but they're getting old--maybe they just lack the patience for it

but i mean, i'm not very patient either

But you're watching Game of Thrones...

GoT is better if you haven't read the books, so your expecations aren't as high and you won't be dissappointed by changes.

Did they say when they got bored?
episode 10

i have very very low expectations for GoT and the walking dead
because they both look god fucking awful

breaking bad at least seems promising, but both my parents started watching it the other day and they said they were getting bored of it

over the next few months

but i wanted to ask this first

list:
walking dead
breaking bad
game of thrones

Question:
at what point do these shows start getting good

i'm asking this preemptively so that i don't get bored and stop watching after the first three episodes

No there isn't.

I'd actually argue it's more of a moral obligation to euthanize them.

I'm not even sure half of them are even aware they're alive any way.
What are you, some kind of BIGOT?

Do you HATE LIFE, or something?

Don't you realize that life is the SOVEREIGN RIGHT of all people, regardless of their MENTAL ABILITY?
