Cheat User ID: CheatlancerThe Maker of Sep7agon. Administrator and active member of the community. - Ambiguous Gender: Is known for his androgynous physical appearance.
- Asexuality: Purportedly. Works well with the above trope, anyway.
- Hollywood Atheist: To an extent. Cheat is a rather outspoken anti-theistic atheist, and often tells the Christian ex-Monitor Rocketman287 that "God's not real." However, since he doesn't do this to any of the other Christians on the forum, it can be assumed that this is just friendly teasing. Probably.
- Reasonable Authority Figure: Has a decent approval rating among the community, and is generally looked upon as a good administrator. However, the reception of his moderating duties have been mixed at best, with some users accusing him of favoritism, negligence, and punitive inconsistency. Additionally, some claim that his recent NSFW policies are unnecessary and hurt the site's freedom.
- The Maker
- Totalitarian Utilitarian: While he clearly wants the best for his growing community, and is very receptive to criticism, he still has his own core personal set of ideas of where he wants the site to go, which are unmitigable.
Cheat's sheet added. HAHA CHEAT SHEET I took a couple of Ushan's ideas and slightly reworded them, as well as adding a few of my own. Soon, I'll create a separate branch of spoilers for staff members.

Yeah, as I've stated a couple times before, my fondest memories of this franchise are with Halo 2's multiplayer.
- energy swords - playing as elites - no fall damage - great maps - graphics that don't make me puke
you can argue that it's even less balanced than CE, but it's not like i've ever really played Halo competitively before anyway

They couldn't have just like... got sidebar ads or something?
They implemented Google Ads but that apparently didn't bring in enough money to cover costs either.
Huh... That's just crazy. They're a very small team and the site saw a pretty good amount of activity from what I remember. What was their big hemorrhaging problem from?
Adblock users.

Yeah, exactly. Don't forget the wounded guy who starts shooting at you and screaming, "You won't turn me into one of them!"

the Flood's reveal was masterful in building tension. ...You think so? I mean, sure, I liked the level, but I can't say I really caught on to any of the "horror" aspects you seem to be highlighting. The Flood wasn't scary at all, and the tension just wasn't there for me. To be completely honest, I found their way of revealing the Flood to be disappointingly cheesy and comical. Like, bad '50s horror film cheesy. As MC was watching that long-ass recording, the Flood literally could have attacked him at any moment, right? So it was just like... All right... Then again, I knew about the Flood long before I played the game, too. I'm assuming you played the game when it was still new, and the Flood wasn't as well-known. Perhaps that would contribute to it.

>watching TWD >expecting good writing
Are you dumb? Lol, this is like going to a barbecue place and expecting them to make an amazing salad. TWD exists only for preteens who like to see extensive violence, not for complex character studies.
i didn't expect good writing, though

Fair enough review. Interested to see an eventual Halo 2 review since it improved on Halo CE in nearly every way.
would you rather i do halo 2 or dark souls after fallout 3

Surprised Verb hasn't posted ITT tbh.
But the meat's already cooked; if it's not eaten, then those animals died for no reason whatsoever. Don't die, mkay?
*shrug* Everyone seems to have the right idea (except Nick Offerman). Wouldn't have much else to add.

If you can't appreciate Halo CE, you were probably just born when it came out. There was nothing like it out at the time to compare, and it was a phenomenon.
I'm turning 20 in October, so no. I was very much alive when it was out. I don't give a fuck if there was "nothing like it" at the time. As far as I'm concerned, that's a good thing. The game is dated as hell and I didn't enjoy it. Deal with it.

RPG is pretty abstruse. I recommend starting off with lower-level programming languages.
I'M NOT LOOKING FOR A STARTING POINT I HAVE PLAYED RPGS BEFORE.
Have you? Can you show me a few programs you've created?

This is one of the issues that only capitalism could breed. Because workers in a socialist society could never be under- or over-paid, right?
Not if you're doing it right. Call it utopian, but at least socialism has a concrete solution to the issue, and not speculative "I think this would work" crap.

If only they released a book after the release of Halo 1 that shared the events of what happened.
Oh wait.
what matters is the game the information they chose to leave out shouldn't have been left out, in my opinion books should only expand upon something that's already been established in the source material "The weapons are incredibly generic and uninteresting"
Yeah the Needler sure is generic. And design for the Plasma weapons sure is copy and pasted.
the needler is the only weapon in the game that has a somewhat creative design yet it also manages to be the least fun weapon to use

Guess what I just got done watching.
- introduce character - make them likable/innocent - kill them off - everyone cries
LE EBIN TRAGEDY MEME QQ SO SAD
Yeah. The cheapest and laziest of tragedies ever.
This is supposed to be "the golden era" of television. Have an aimless plot where anyone can die. Literally--just pick any random character who isn't crucial to the plot and kill them off. INSTANT emotional response from the audience.
What's that? Waste of a decent character, you say? Nonsense! NONE of our characters are decent! In fact, we telegraph the next person who's gonna die so hard, it's a wonder why anyone's even surprised! That's how easily manipulated our audience is!
What's that? LAZY WRITING? You want to see characters suffer in ways that don't necessarily involve the go-to push-button death? NONSENSE! Remember: Everyone cries when someone dies! If they don't die, that would actually force us into writing some ORIGINAL CONFLICT!
CAN'T HAVE THAT!
sigh
I mean, there's no plot beyond "people try to survive," so it ends up becoming all about stupid character struggles and shit. Which can be reduced to, "Who's gonna die next!?"
...and that's supposed to be quality television
this is why i don't watch tv shows
