Are we talking about first or third person view games with AAA-ish graphics and stuff, or some forgotten japanese RPG indies with 2D graphics as well?
most of the ones i've okayed so far have been indies i think indies in general seem to be the way to go these days, i regret my prejudice towards them

as long as the definitive edition has all the DLC, it doesn't matter
the real problem with definitive editions is that they depend on you not already owning the game—so you might have spent $120 on the game + all its DLC, while i'm sitting here only paying half of that because i was smart enough to wait
which is not exactly fair, but w/e

writing, trying to find ways to make this dark souls review more interesting
you know, without just regurgitating what everybody already likes about the game too much
A REVIEW WITHOUT TRYING THE MULTIPLAYER🤔
and the section on the MP is by far the longest part
so you tried the pvp?
No, and i don't need to in order to talk about it, because i pretty much already know everything i need to
the only reason i'd try is if i wanted to see if it was fun—but i don't care if it's fun, because whether it's fun has nothing to do with my broader issues with it, and i don't rate games based on how fun they are anyway
How can you talk about something you’ve never done?
have you ever eaten shit
You’re equating something which is inherently and objectively disgusting which we’ve been biologically hardwired to find repulsive to talking about video games. It’s like reviewing Dark Souls’ story having only played PvP.
You can make shitty examples all you want, whatever you say about Dark Souls PvP is invalid as you haven’t tried it.
i am biologically hardwired to find dark souls MP repulsive

The Godfather 3 would have been a lot better with Wynona Ryder as originally planned.
i still haven't deigned to watch it yet is it so bad, or should i just go on my merry way

Does GOTY/ definitive editions count? As in a newer release with all DLC included.
sure, but only if absolutely nothing is left out

Would you count Pokemon games? I mean they've had mythicals and legendaries as downloadable content.
Though you could say USUM were basically DLC...
yeah no, the mere fact that you can't catch all pokémon with a single purchased game disqualifies it in my book you also need pokémon bank to complete the dex in a current game, which is subscription based—unless you have a friend to help you trade and stuff, but again, that's a second game purchase

What about if it made everything free later on
then that's dope and it counts

Do free cards for loging in each month in Yu-Gi-Oh WC 2010-11 count
imo, only if it's possible to obtain every card in the game by doing so in other words, there are no cards that you HAVE to pay for, because then it's no different than an unlockable

that includes expansion packs, episodic releases, microtransactions, loot boxes, MMOs or anything that requires paid subscriptions, amiibos or other peripheral doodads, loot boxes, or anything like that whatsoever
i'm talking about games where i can experience the entire thing for one single purchase, and it also has to be good
go

watching a couple friends play halo wars 2 against some guy who's not attacking but can repair his defenses faster than they can figure out how to destroy them and this game has literally gone on for 74 minutes
That’s because Halo Wars 2 is trash.

dude fuck plup, jesus christ
did he choke or beat somebody you like
i just don't like the guy—which is sad, because he used to be one of my favorites (mostly because he plays samus) but there's a pengboys video of him playing against shiz (they were both streaming), and he's just the most insufferable person to listen to—not that this is the only video of him being a cunt or anything, this has been building up for a while i think he and leffen have the worst attitude a top 5 player could have about the game, because it's not a good look for the community as a whole—the constant whining and salt from both players whenever they lose (especially to hungrybox) is just so cringe and embarrassing to watch
