I'm nuzlocking it. Got an Orchynx, a Cubbug, a thing, and a thing.
I'm super glad I got Orchynx, actually, because it's Grass/Steel and it's immune to crits. Perfect for nuzlockes.

I don't get how you hate mods but this is okay because they built the game from the ground up it's not a ROM hack or anything it's no different than reading/writing fanfiction, as gay as that is

Uranium?
http://www.pokemonuranium.com/pokemon fangame that's supposed to be really good, i guess it features a whole ton of original monsters + a "compelling story" it's been getting a lot of buzz lately--after getting 1.5 million downloads, nintendo slapped 'em with a C&D, forcing them to remove the download link from the main site so i got it elsewhere, because as much as i respect nintendo's decision to protect their IP, this was a harmless passion project that wasn't deriving any sort of profit or anything--and i just wanna see if it's all that good to begin with

I think it's kinda cool. Not amazing, not something I'd catch, but I don't hate it. Kinda like Weavile or Tropius or something.
Also, I just downloaded Uranium.

Now why don't you give your own opinion on the original point? Since you went straight to fallacies and the middle east instead. No, that was Berzerk.

lawdy no
Why'd you move it? basically nothing in the article is about the game?
It's about No Man's Sky, which is a video game. dense

The difference here being that these people perceive themselves as oppressed champions of women's rights by complaining about the title of a video game while ignoring and even enabling the abuse women receive in Muslim countries.
It's not like saying "don't complain about your shitty food, kids in Africa would kill to eat that". That would be the fallacy.
Do they see themselves that way, or do you see them that way?

how does that work lol, I thought onix was ground type
In Gen 1 I'm pretty sure the secondary type doesn't have an influence on the effectiveness of an attack.
I remember playing through Yellow version a while ago and thinking there were a few super effective hits that should've done no damage anyway.
Nah, secondary types still factor in. That's what makes Brock so hard to beat in Yellow if you're only using a Pikachu. Gen I is just a glitchy fuckfest, is all. For one thing, Poison and Bug were made super-effective against each other, which has a lot of people confused, because now, they're not very effective against each other. A complete reversal. There was also a misleading text glitch in Gen I that caused the "super effective" or "not very effective" text to appear even if the move you picked only did regular damage. This happens when you use Leech Life (a Bug-type move) on a Zubat, which is Poison/Flying, and therefore should only receive normal 1x damage from the move. Instead, the game tells you that it's super effective, because--like you had assumed--it only takes the primary type (Poison) into account for the text roll. The same thing happens if you use a Grass-type move on a Gyarados, an Electric-type move on Zapdos, or a Fighting-type move on Aerodactyl. It still does the regular 1x amount of damage; it just shows the wrong message. Gen I is silly like that.

never complain about any of your life's problems, EVER, because there is ALWAYS someone worse off in the world
is that fair or rational
The point is when the suffering is self-imposed because the person is too stupid to broaden their perspective. Such as being annoyed at the title of No Man's Sky.
you keep mentioning suffering as though it's the issue--it's not i think people have the right to discuss video game titles, and to have their opinions on them, no matter how stupid--nobody, not me or the author, are making any claims about suffering and even if they were, how does the mere existence of the middle east negate the discussion value of any "lesser" issues, particularly re: feminist perspectives of media how many more issues are rendered meaningless because women are raped in the middle east? oh, is it just feminism? so you're allowed to complain about your phone doing a little thing it's not supposed to, but people can't discuss media from a feminist's perspective without being shut down by "muh middle east"? ...why?

I really don't buy that this is a meaningful fallacy.
Like, you may indeed be suffering due to one thing or another, but that doesn't necessary make your suffering legitimate, or as important as somebody else's plight. Some people really do suffer because they're too dim-witted to realise how good they have it.
this is literally the fallacy, right here no one is saying it's as important as whatever--the point is it's irrelevant never complain about any of your life's problems, EVER, because there is ALWAYS someone worse off in the world is that fair or rational

i started rewatching the original pokemon anime again

I like when pikachu beats the onyx with electricity
And when pikachu was a cunt
how does that work lol, I thought onix was ground type
Well, Pikachu's lightning caused a fire in the gym, so Onix was pelted with water after the sprinklers went off. This made it vulnerable to Electric attacks, because water conducts electricity. yeah, the show likes to take a lot of creative license when it comes to the game's rules

I knew you'd like it. 3rd favorite game of all time.
Remember that the red dots on the map mean that there's an alternate exit that leads to a secret level and shit.
