In other news, water is wet
uhhhhhhhh ACTULLY,,, water CENT b wet, because durrrrr water can't... NOT have water on top of, uhhhh... it
What is your goal here?
whenever someone says "water is wet," there's always that wise-mouth gape-toothed faggot who tries to argue that water isn't wet because of some fuckbrained semantic reason
Well, not to be that guy, but water can't be wet since it's water.
"wetness" is the state of having liquid water on something

are you saying water doesn't have water on it

if we're talking about a single H2O molecule, then you'd have a point

i came up with that myself
She's just as retarded on foreign policy. The US helped local forces liberate a city in Syria from ISIS and she apologised to the civilian population of that city for "US aggression".
At least she knows what this arcane "Aleppo" thing is.

I didn't even think of the fact that not everyone would want an actual picture of themselves, publicly available or not, to be used as an avatar for some stranger on the internet, though. That's a good point.

I don't think the general practice of it is disrespectful, but if someone doesn't want it used in that way and you continue to, unknowingly or not, it could be.
yeah, i mean, while it's safe to say that no reasonable person would even care, it's still a matter of principle

i guess sprite art really isn't that much different, but your face is your identity

i'd care more if someone were using my face than if someone were using my art--i might be flattered, actually

With that logic you're disrespecting Tajiri by using a Pokemon avatar when you didn't create Pokemon. Makes no sense.
i'm not using a photo of satoshi tajiri, though, so that's a moot comparison

either way, i kind of am disrespecting the artists a little bit by taking ripped sprite art from Pokémon games

legally, you can't just take images from the internet--there are copyright laws that protect images, but no one cares but me

if you've ever made a formal powerpoint presentation or a research paper, you know you must duly credit all images--that applies to basically everything that isn't in the public domain (which is what clip-art and stock photos are made for)

so yes, if i were rating my own avatar, i couldn't go higher than 9/10 by my scale

how is using a picture of your role model creepy? How is drawing a picture of a naked elite (completely original) less creepy than a publicly available representation of an idol?
it's creepy because you're literally taking someone's face and using it to represent you, when you're not them--i just find that really creepy on a visceral level

i wouldn't even use trent reznor as an avatar--it almost seems disrespectful

i'm just saying--if i were a famous celebrity, i'd be really disturbed to find people using my face as an avatar on backwater internet forums

also, vien did not come up with elites, so it's not completely original--i'd give his avatars a 1-3/10 on average just for being tasteless and borderline autistic, if it makes you feel better--it's not that i find his avatars less creepy; i think they're beyond creepy, but that doesn't mean i'd give it a 10/10 just for originality

i could give a completely original avatar a 1/10, if i thought it sucked hard enough--but the highest score an unoriginal avatar could ever get in my book is a 9/10

it's interesting but the only REALLY good gif avatars are the ones that loop perfectly, and yours doesn't

it also doesn't go great with your green style but w/e

oh, you never specified who we're supposed to be rating

class gets a 9/10 for using a particularly nice photo of an otherwise mediocre actress

10/10s are only for people who have completely original avatars, though--not something stolen from Google Images, and especially not pictures of somebody else, which is borderline creepy

does everything a simple avatar needs to do, but it's almost too simple--too plain, but otherwise solid

Also what was the difference between -A and -T again? Because when I was younger I remember getting INTP-T but now I get INTP-A.
https://www.16personalities.com/articles/identity-assertive-vs-turbulent

"Assertive (-A) individuals are self-assured, even-tempered and resistant to stress. They refuse to worry too much and do not push themselves too hard when it comes to achieving goals."

"In contrast, individuals with Turbulent (-T) identity are self-conscious and sensitive to stress."

i'm definitely turbulent--perhaps most people are

Fuck those professors.

I keep getting these old codgers, Luddites, and technophobes who don't even use a student portal.

Sometimes, they won't even respond to your e-mails!

I had a computing teacher halfway through high school who would fuck with you psychologically and berate you for getting things wrong or asking questions.

Like seriously, she'd single you out and make you look like the biggest fucking dunce that ever graced her class if you asked her to elucidate on a problem she just expected you to magically know.
yet it never dawned on you that you are the biggest fucking dunce?

The DPRK resembles a Stalinist state more than it does a communist one.
just like America isn't really capitalist becauss it has trade regulations and taxes amirite

take your memes back to /pol/ please

it's hard to be communist when you've got a class of elites headed by what is essentially a monarchy funneling wealth and resources away from the poor and working class people and into their own pockets

not to mention the fact that private enterprise is a thing there as well
It's almost like communism doesn't really work then, huh?
it literally--literally doesn't work because people like you (ie. human beings) are fuckheads

so SURE, if you wanna look at it that way, then it doesn't fucking work

people like me have this crazy belief that we can transcend our innately selfish nature, though
I'm pretty sure there's more to the intrinsic failings of communism other than "people are fuckheads", but nice pedestrian insight there.
yeah excellent work ignoring the following line where i specify that the fuckheads i'm talking about are selfish

the fact that people are selfish is the ONLY reason communism fails

there are no other reasons

it's not that my insight is pedestrian--it's your reading comprehension that's callow and rudimentary

I've been biding my time, keeping myself in the closet about this, because I've feared so long the inevitable persecution I'd have to endure from zealots like SecondClass. But I think it's about time I'd stopped caring about the thoughts of demented bigots.

I don't know how to say this--it's been such an arduous journey for me before I could proudly say this--but here it goes:

Spoiler
I am a GMO.
