Oh yeah, I forgot about the moderating comment sections aspect. That's another scuzzy thing.

>Youtube attempting to commit suicide

In other news, the grass is green and the sky is blue.
The grass isn't green because it makes other things green.

So idk if I'm just not reacting right, or if I'm missing the point here, but why is this disliked? I assume because they're giving the people the right to moderate videos and dictate what does and doesn't go on?

It sounds like an attempt to fix their shitty service in the first place, but they seem to be going about it wrong.
Giving free agents the ability to decide what is and isn't acceptable for the website tends to give people Orwellian vibes, yeah. Their use of vague weasel words like "negative content" is scary, because the term is so ill-defined--anything can be considered negative content, depending on individual sensibilities, and it's maybe not the best idea to give these easily-offended people clout when it comes to content policing.

Personally, I don't think much of anything will come of this, but people are definitely right to be in their feelings over it.

You know what's a big deal? I think I saw your golden Magikarp but I refreshed/moved on before I really realized it. But I'm not sure if I did see it or not and it's been on my mind all day.
Heh, yeah, you probably saw it by now. I've been trying to come up with a way to make it even harder to find, just like in the games. It's 1/500 right now--pretty big compared to 1/8192.

Edit:
Found it myself as I was posting this. Trippy.

Spoiler

Cue the inevitable "but it's a private company" excuses.
It is.

THEY ACTUALLY PUT A TRIGGER WARNING IN THE VIDEO LMAO
Big fucking deal.

Last year, I overheard her playing a game of Cards Against Humanity with her friends and whoever else. Someone played a card that involved bukkake--she wasn't familiar with the word, so my dad explained it to her in his usual blunt manner. She sounded pretty repulsed.

I'd have to say no.

your logic falls apart when applied to pretty much anything
Except it doesn't, because there's nothing on this planet that we do that isn't a shitty waste of time and life.

The best way to live is to not live at all. Life is terrible like that.
And yet suicide is stupid in your book
Yeah, if you have people in your circle who would be affected by it. Which really helps my mind--life is so bad, you can't even end it without having people get all sad over it.

Not constantly treating your body as a temple isn't ruining your life. You can eat out or smoke a joint every now and then and be fine.
Banging your head against a wall a single time every now and then won't do any real damage, either. It's still stupid as fuck.
And yet it's still not ruining your life.
Doing anything that would result in a ruined life if done in excess is just as stupid and worthy of intense hatred and criticism.
man drinking water is so stupid

man exercise is so stupid

man playing video games is so stupid
Yes.

If I didn't have to drink water to live, I wouldn't do it.

If I didn't have to exercise to be fit, I never would.

If I didn't need video games to keep myself sane, I wouldn't play them.

They go for the stereotype kinda for a lot of the characters, with a bit of their own flare. That's the entire point.
yeah, called it

That doesn't make it good.
Doesn't necessarily make it bad either.
It does in this case, because "a bit" of their own flare isn't enough.

what stereotype does reinhardt fit then
I guess he's not really stereotypical, but there's literally nothing interesting about his design.

People prance around imposing their will on others like it's some kind of moral obligation

if it was just a guideline, no one would be obsessed with bitching about it to strangers they don't care about - they'd just follow the guideline
I consider it a moral obligation to influence other people not to ruin their lives, yes.

I can't "impose" my will on anybody, but I can express disapproval, which is the next best thing.

If you're still obsessed with family bonds and "body is a temple" morality in 2016, you're a joke.
your body IS a temple
it's not a moral statement just because you slap the world "morality" onto it

it's just a guideline for a healthy, prosperous life

only mad degenerates care about being called degenerates

your body IS a temple, and disgracing it is textbook degeneracy
in that case, being a degenerate isn't immoral whatsoever
lmao who ever said it was

i'm happy they at least show up properly on PCs now, so i can actually tell what they are

This video made me realize one thing--there's not a single character in Overwatch whose design I like. Not even a little.
That's funny, I figured you'd like Reaper since his entire attitude was based off of yours
reaper and genji are the coolest ones, but they're cool in the most stereotypical possible ways

So what is everyone's team going to be so far?

I'm probably going to go:
Robinhoot
Lycanroc-Day
Vikavolt
Salandit
Wishiwashi
Jangmo-o
Literally this, except replace Wishiwashi with Lurantis and Jangmo-o with Tapu Koko.

I'll make the best out of Lycanroc's midnight form.

I'm keeping my eye out for the evolutions of Pikipek, Grubbin, Wimpod, and Pyukumuku.

Type: Null could replace Tapu Koko if it ends up being cool enough.
