Serious / Re: Ohio, Florida, Nevada and North Carolina Don't Matter« on: October 13, 2016, 01:14:19 PM »Fair enoughI agree that Kasich was the best the GOP had to offer, but I just think the prospect of him beating Hillary (had he been nominated) is a little bit of wishful thinking. Tyger summed it up well. 13176
The Flood / Re: what you enjoy says a lot about your intelligence« on: October 13, 2016, 01:05:39 PM »Well you would have to be pretty dumb to not see the correlation between intelligence and the complexity of entertainment required to feel enjoyment. Why do dogs find things that we find boring and stupid (rolling around in the grass) infinitely fun?I don't know what you're asking me for--ask someone who doesn't already agree, like challenger. 13177

Serious / Re: Ohio, Florida, Nevada and North Carolina Don't Matter« on: October 13, 2016, 11:46:56 AM »Well, keep in mind that most Trump supporters only support him because he's a cartoon character--a caricature of what a presidential candidate is supposed to be. They're not actually concerned about competence--they want to fuck the establishment in the ass. He's basically a #YOLO candidate--whatever happens next is just popcorn material.Thing is, if people could put up with Trump, me thinks they could put up with Kasich.you're nutsand its not just Trump. It didn't matter who the Republican nominee was, they weren't going to win. The establishment decided this is Hillary's time.Kasich or Bush easily could have beaten her. Kasich is an overall brighter guy, but Trump supporters aren't really interested in that. They're not interested in nominating someone with the personality of a handkerchief, or any other washed-up member of this crumbling Republican party. Instead, they want the guy who has the best shot at shaking things up, no matter how stupid. Because they know they don't have a chance any other way. That's the way I see it. 13180

I've always been this awesome and enlightened.damn, so somehow you're both jobless and too dumb to use adequate passwords?People with jobs aren't smart enough for that. That's why you use multiple passwords.Instantly because I don't give a FUCK about my privacy and there's literally nothing worth hiding on any of my accounts on any website. If someone logged in to my YouTube account, for instance, the worst thing they could do is delete my videos or maybe upload some random shit, all of which would be easy to damage control.well that's because you have no job and don't actually do anything important at all. People who actually contribute to society have important things in their emails and bank accounts 13182

Serious / Re: Ohio, Florida, Nevada and North Carolina Don't Matter« on: October 13, 2016, 07:44:03 AM »Maybe the reason why he is loosing is simply due to the shit that comes out of his mouth. Nearly every time he speaks, he ends up loosing support from his party. Hillary is not his biggest threat of loosing, he himself is."Lose" only has one "o." It's really hard to take you seriously when you're having trouble spelling top 500 words. 13185
The Flood / Re: what you enjoy says a lot about your intelligence« on: October 13, 2016, 06:59:32 AM »Like I said in the other thread (which I assumed inspired the creation of this one), I don't see any correlation. If you jangle a set of keys in an infant's face, he'll probably find that extremely entertaining. This is because babies are stupid, and they're entertained by the stupidest shit. Because 1.) they haven't seen anything better, and 2.) even if they did, they're not smart enough to understand why it's better. As they get older, their standards for entertainment increase exponentially. It takes a lot more than jangling a ring of car keys in an adult's face to make him laugh or keep him interested. This simple and easy example can be extended to all forms of entertainment. The most entertaining games tend to be very complex. The more complex something is, the more brainpower it takes to comprehend. This is why chess is more interesting than checkers, and that smarter people will tend to play chess rather than checkers. You can also look at games in terms of what's actually being accomplished, or what the overall cost of playing this game is. Chess is a game that can be played practically for free--the only cost involved is time, whereas the NFL is a multi-billion dollar industry which is essentially built with the bodies of injured children and budding athletes. If you're able to overlook such a cost for such a frivolous game, how intelligent can you really be? 13186

Just a podcast featuring the guy to whom I credit my anti-natalism, and perhaps the most redpilled man alive--Gary Mosher, AKA inmendham.
YouTube Riveting stuff. An hour-long discussion where Gary is able to maintain his composure all the way through is a rare treat, so I thought I'd just share it here. Thoughts welcome. 13188

Not to mention, this particular website has been around for quite awhile. If anything shady were happening, you'd think it would have been taken down by now. The Flood / Re: How secure is your password?« on: October 12, 2016, 01:50:36 PM »That's kind of like saying it's more sensible to keep valuables somewhere other than your locked house because you might drop your key on the street. At the end of the day, even if we're not discussing bank information, it's still unwise to put your password into something like this -- the fact that there exist secure payment methods other than storing the data on a site doesn't affect the stupidity of giving away your password.Well, I wouldn't say it's a smart thing to do, but if you genuinely don't care, what's the issue? 13195

The Flood / Re: How secure is your password?« on: October 12, 2016, 01:16:32 PM »It's not hypocritical to give ignorant people the benefit of the doubt during a discussion. If you can refute an argument from a multitude of different perspectives, that's a good thing. Privacy is unimportant, but not everybody sees it that way. So, it becomes necessary to look at the issue from a wide array of viewpoints, because discussion can't really take place if we're working against fundamentally different premises.A hypocritical argument to make, since you don't consider its privacy important. Regardless, you missed the point. This site is basically phishing for infoI'd argue having your credit card information on some website is just as stupid, even if it's Amazon. It's also not hypocritical because I consider money matters to be an issue of security, not privacy. There's a distinction. If you fear being defrauded, a more sensible solution (in my opinion) would simply be to not have your credit card information online, rather than fuss over having a random password anonymously submitted to some random fuck-off website. This is neither hypocritical nor missing your point--all I'm doing is giving an alternative (and arguably better) solution to that problem. If you need to make some kind of online purchase, there are safer ways of going about that. 13197
