Sorry, but sometimes this bugs me. Saying people are circlejerking when a game is both critically acclaimed across the review and player base board, usually means it's actually REALLY fucking good, and not people just obsessing over the next hot meme like Undertale. Especially when its expansion, Blood and Wine, beats out any other RPG this year for GoTY and is basically counted as a new game in of itself. But Undertale was critically acclaimed across the board too, right? Obviously they're two vastly different games, but what about Undertale's success makes it a meme worth disregarding and not Witcher 3? The mindset of "just because it's popular and everyone loves it, I'M not gonna love it!" without even trying it out, is stupid enough as it is.
Is it that stupid when the general populace as a whole doesn't have the greatest track record when it comes to making things popular? Call of Duty. Justin Bieber. Bayformers. Kardashians. I don't think it's that stupid to be skeptical, or even annoyed.

"Unbiased news source," AKA whatever news source best caters to my worldview.
Maybe before you disregard some news source as "biased," ask yourself how unbiased you are first.

Ratchet and Clank
i think you'd really like this
childhood favorite for me
I find it hard to play those kinds of games now
Going Commando, Up Your Arsenal, and Deadlocked still play pretty good
The original game's controls didn't age that well so I'd play the PS4 version
I haven't played the PS3 games, but I hear Tools of Destruction and A Crack in Time are really good too
a crack in time is dope, but the future series is when the humor and atmosphere started to get a little bit more child-oriented and the technofuck soundtracks are replaced by (mostly) generic orchestral crap still worth playing though

[standard i dont like this sep7agon post]
edit: spidey is my favorite of all time, so im going to see this no matter what
I mean, he's mine too, but I just don't see a point in continually rebooting it when they're never going to top Tobey. Spoiler organic webs > web-shooters

Got the fucking thing. Now all I need are Litten, Popplio, Cranidos, and Tirtouga and I have all the base forms for the entire Alola dex--not including the last few UBs, wherever they are. As for Zygarde cells, I'm still looking for seven stragglers.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_best-selling_video_game_franchisesGoing off this: The Sims Assassin's Creed Mass Effect Tom Clancy's anything Dragon Quest Diablo Monster Hunter Civilization BioShock Don't care to go further, but yeah, there's actually quite a lot of stuff I haven't touched. Of those listed, Monster Hunter is the only game I'm remotely interested in, though. Maybe Dragon Quest.

I'd prefer it if Spider-Man were just not in this universe at all, but whatever.
Trailer made this look like a mess--probably won't be seeing it.

They really needed to make special SOS encounters more common. This is such a ridiculously shitty and unfun mechanic. I'm sitting here waiting for this fucking Sandshrew to call a Vanillite for help before it fucking Struggles itself to death (which has happened three times already).
Are you using Adrenaline orbs?
yeah i even went full autismo by using bestow to give it an icy rock to extend the sandshrew's hail time (because vanillite only appears in hail)--and once he runs out of PP, i use thief to steal it back and start all over again

White people made achievements in history so HEH, that means we're the superior race. It's just facts, kiddo. The blacks haven't achieved anything!
What, slavery? That wasn't ME. I didn't enslave anybody! Why are you trying to make me take credit for things I didn't do???
White people are the superior race because they're more attractive. And life is all about the face everything else is just cope
Facts~ it's over boyo
i dunno, asians are pretty beautiful

Also Verb, how the hell have you not finished this game yet?
College (mostly), and for at least two weeks after the election, I lost a lot of motivation to do anything that I liked. I'm not just playing the game--I'm recording it, taking notes for the review, writing updates, doing voice overs, editing footage, etc--A lot of extra work that requires time out of my day that I haven't really had lately. If I weren't doing all of that, I'd have the game finished months ago. Now that my semester's wrapping up, though, I can get back to it.

Speaking of Dks1 and the Lordvessel, were is Verb in it at this point? He was at OnS while I was still stuck on Capra. At this point iv'e beaten Seath
Preparing to fight Seath. I entered his lair and got fucked in what I'm assuming was a scripted fight, and now I'm trying to escape wherever I ended up. I'll talk more about it in my thread whenever I decide to write another update.
I'm officially in the dreaded second half, so I'm eager to see what everyone hates about it so much.
Have you fully embraced the power of pyromancy yet?
I wouldn't say "fully" but we'll see what happens. I like the hybrid mixture of things I have going on right now.

Do people tend to hate the second half? Lost Izalith and Demon Ruins are my favorite in the game. It's really awe-inspiring to look up and think about the history of the place and what it means for the story. It gives me the same feeling as Ash Lake.
That's the general impression I've been getting lately, yeah. The top 2 things I hear are Blighttown and the second half. I won't let that hamper my expectations, but it seems to be a pretty common (if recent) sentiment.

Dark Souls 3 is the worst game in the series. That's it, really.
it's the worst in the series because it's derivative? because that is consistently the only complaint i've ever hear about it--"too much like dark souls 1" is that what qualifies as "worst in the series" now?

Akuma looks great, if a bit stiff and slow. Extended, long-lasting combos--precisely what this game needs. Fingers crossed that S2 adds more combo potential.

The birth rate is low in Japan because they have small dicks.
They need people like me over there if you know what I'm saying
They need people with big dicks, not just big dicks... like you.
the "like you" turned what would've been a half-decent burn into a tryhard one
