it's sad how much this show has been reduced to fishing for *GASP* HE SAID WHAT!?!?!? moments

it made an excellent capstone to the needful brutality of the scene in a carrot/stick way it was also delivered very ham-fistedly by a substandard actress and written with high school play-level dialogue, turning what may have been a somewhat chilling scene into an unintentionally hysterical one just because you didn't like it doesn't make it bad - guess what, you're not the expert authority you think you are
yeah i am, and yes it does

that was such a bad line though
the pairing of that childish reward (childish emphasized with how she said it) against the brutal, fucked up, adult-fear punishment she just described in detail was actually pretty brilliant.
you mean corny and hackneyed?
maybe if you have no sense of storytelling
i probably have a greater sense of storytelling than anybody on this forum i know exactly what the writers were attempting to do, but it was executed so poorly that i legit cannot watch that scene without bursting out laughing

Characters aren't as good as TFA You mean taking the ANH script, crossing out "Luke" and writing "Rey"?
I think you mean taking ANH's shitty script and actually making it work.
Try harder.
To what?
please elaborate, because
Still a good line.

if you don't think giving the alt-right more exposure and therefore more followers is a bad thing then i guess it isn't, but that's also just your opinion
If that's how it worked. The alt-right doesn't gain followers from this one article--at worst, a select few people are just given a label for a set of beliefs that they already had. No one who doesn't already subscribe to alt-right idelology is going to agree with them.

or let it die quietly instead of broadcasting it to people who otherwise wouldn't have thought about participating in it and thus perpetuating this kind of nonsense
People showing their true colors in this way is a good thing. Now we'll know who to castigate.
which will never happen outside of a few mean words said to them over the internet
Good. There is no way you can spin this into some kind of bad thing.

i don't get why twitter hashtags are newsworthy
the amount of people who are going to go through with this boycott isn't even large enough to make a dent in the box office numbers and all the news media is doing is giving these people a megaphone to spew their idiocy at this point
Good? Let everyone in the world know how fucked in the head they are.

Alright, what is everybody's favorites? I know I have way too many, but the top two rows are generally my top 16. The rest are in no particular order.
I think I've found the time to sit down and do this. Things haven't changed much.

Why do people want to avoid confilict with Russia? I don't get it.
is it really that difficult for you to grasp why some would want to avoid war with one of the US' major power rivals
i dont think it is
Is it that difficult for you to grasp that it won't come to using nukes?
We shouldn't be so afraid to tell Russia what for.
i made no mention of nukes so i dont know why youd bring that up.
So what's the big deal?
Some people are pacifists and realize that death is death is death is death.

STAB Psychic just blows everything out of the water if you're not prepared
I had Golisopod at the point he got Raichu, so I was lucky enough to blow him back with First Impression
Golisopod is fucking awesome.
