And Halo 6 looks to be packed with an obscene amount of content. I'm getting pretty sick of these mopey threads talking about how shitty Halo 4 was supposed to be, how boring Halo 5 is (hint: if you're bored in Halo 5, you're a boring fucking person and there's no fixing that), and how supposedly bad Halo 6 will be.
The irony is that most of these people now claiming Halo 5 is shallow can look fondly at their 200+ hours of shooting in a still-true technical benchmark with genre-defining mechanics. It's just silly. Halo 5 is, without debate, a ridiculously detailed, expansive, content-filled and organic game. There's a reason that the worst parts of the game are the scripted story pieces, and that's because the game absolutely succeeds at being multiplayer and Call of Duty-driven. I'm not even sure what the "depth of a puddle" is referring to. Surely it's not talking about the lore available in the game, or the hundreds of completely optional wiki pages, hundreds of entries followed by procedurally generated edits, or the thorough REQ system? Of course, the game isn't a character-driven vidya novella a la Half Life, but the series never claims to be such. It's a giant fucking multiplayer world with tons of stuff to do and tons of armor to unlock, and it kicks ass at it.
I missed this meme

Don't write a sci-fi novel.
gtfo
How goes your own, btw?
It's evolved into a completely different story from when I first conceived it. Instead of being a blatant and frankly overwrought philosophical statement reflecting my own beliefs, it's become more of a character study. I'm heavily inspired by the likes of Camus, Salinger, and Palahniuk, and I think I make that too obvious at times. Rewrites are frustratingly frequent.

Wow, a bad cosplay. Never has anybody dressed up as someone who doesn't match their body type.
Still not enough.

Most Olympic events are cardio related with very little room for excess fat. On that topic tho, there are plenty of female athletes with larger breasts, the Williams sisters are a prime example. Olympic volleyball is another example. Find one on Wonder Woman's level and you'll have an argument.

Try again.

On top of that you can target different areas of your body and leave them titties alone. Which takes a lot of effort--something a superhero probably wouldn't prioritize. Why are pretty much all women at the Olympics flat-chested?

Wonder woman doesn't exhibit a body that is impossible to achieve. She not sticky thin, maybe a bit athletic.
Exercise is a thing that exists.
You know what happens when most women exercise?
Their breasts shrink. Because they're mostly just fat.
Spoken like a man who knows nothing about women's fitness.
Yet I just told you one fact that I know.

So a woman can't be attractive and confident in showing that attractiveness? Women can't be unattractive? Or just average?

large breasted So she has breasts, what about it? Not every female in the world is flat chested.
And not every woman in the world is well-endowed. How female characters in the media are portrayed would have you believe otherwise. impossible proportions After all it's so hard or people to not consume junk food, pop and McDonald's every single day.
Really? That's all a woman has to do to look just like Wonder Woman? Not eat anything? Thanks for the input, you empty-headed fuck. scantily clad in a shimmery, thigh-baring body suit Superman and Spider man are wearing a skintight suit so where's the people in their defense? Then for Robin he's wearing high underwear so again, where's his defense party at?
Right here.

Even as someone who is biracial (black and white, though praise Allah I look white), I still never felt comfortable really saying the word because of the ignorance I associate with it.
Not "oh that was an insult to slavery" ignorance. The "oh shit, these guys are from the inner city and act like idiots" ignorant.
Yeah. I'm about as white as you can get, but if I were in this guy's position, and I have Sam Jackson goading me into using the word, the only thing stopping me from using it would be the fear of losing my job or creating a huge media circus. "WHITE INTERVIEWER USES RACIAL EPITHET IN FRONT OF SAMUEL L. JACKSON" It would probably be a nightmare. Even if you baby-proof the shit out of it and say, "Well, of course, the word I'm referring to is 'nigger.' Not a word I like to use--I never use it, in fact--but it's used a lot in this movie and I just wanted to ask about how bla bla bla." Even if you set it up like that, people would still freak the fuck out. So I guess the real question is, as a white person, would it even be worth it to say it, even after being given explicit "permission."
