I get the lens of truth and follow the goron ghost then just give up.Uh-huh, it's a slog. The temple is actually where it picks back up, in my opinion--but there's a lot of mixed opinions of that section overall. The main appeal of the game is, as Vien said, the sidequesting. You get to know all the people in the town very well over the course of the three day cycle, and the constant brooding atmosphere is remarkable. I'd say give it another shot when you're able--but I dunno how many times you've tried it already. 11051

TV remote - a convenient device that allows us to expedite an otherwise tedious process, or a symbol of sloth and lethargy that only exists to keep us from getting off our own asses and changing the settings ourselves
modern TVs don't even function without a remote--does that say anything about us and maybe if we didn't rely on cars so much, we'd actually have an excuse to skip leg day--or are cars just that convenient where is the line drawn 11055

I've actually been trying to play all the Zeldas I haven't played/beaten yet. Progress:
I've also never played any spin-offs or anything outside the core series, incuding Link's Crossbow Training, Hyrule Warriors, or any of Tingle's games. I've also never played any of the CD-i games, despite owning a CD-i. I really want to try them out some day, but they're very rare and expensive, last I checked. I'll probably never get to play Four Swords, because it's MP only and I'm not about to go around asking people if they want to play through an entire Zelda game with me--and even if I found someone like that, they'd probably be an unpleasant weirdo (because that's just my luck). Wikipedia tells me that a special single-player edition of the game was actually released free for a limited time over the past few years, and every time, it slid under my radar. I'll be on the lookout from now on, because that's my only chance at playing this game. As for Tri Force Heroes, I really don't even want to play it. I'm kinda sad that it even exists, to be honest. I'll probably pick it up if I see it for $10 or less. 11057

No game has ever made me feel the way OoT has. In fact, I wouldn't even put any games in a list with it that have come out in the past 10 years or so. No game has come close to it, or other games near its time. I know a lot of people don't like The Witcher 3. But now that I think about it, I would put that up there with OoT. Being careful not to get overhyped.Normally, I'm the same way, but this time, I've actually taken to absorbing as much information about the game as possible. Skyward Sword was painfully disappointing, and it's been sixteen years since I've experienced genuine amazement with a game, so I'm just super thirsty. Needless to say, Wind Waker is my favorite too. I've talked about this a lot, but it's one of only three games I've ever felt deserved a perfect 10/10. It just rocks my socks. I actually just finished Oracle of Ages today, which inspired me to make the thread in the first place. Excellent game--I'd place it in my top 5 Zeldas for sure. That being, WW > MM > LttP > Zelda 2 > OoA. I'll play Seasons next, of course. 11061

Whenever I'm playing RL with my buddies if we're not playing ranked for whatever reason I'll be secretly (or openly) wanting to play ranked instead. Whenever someone asks why I need to play ranked I'll word it almost exactly the way you did. The thrill of beating a foe in a pressure game is just so satisfying. even if you lose, the idea of being able to look back to that game and say, "that was a great match, we both performed very well" is highly cathartic--and the knowledge that the loss only made you a wiser player should excite and invigorate you basically you have to find the fun in losing, or "hold that L" as the cool kids say 11065

No matter how far you measure it, the "decimal form" (which shouldn't exist) of 1/3 will ALWAYS be less than the expression. You could go on eternally, for all of time and then some, and it would never, ever, ever be 1/3.but wouldn't that only apply if you stopped counting decimals at any point which you can't do if we're talking about an endless repeating decimal Quote Look, this isn't hard. All I'm saying is that the decimal form of 1/3 (or any repeating numbers) don't exist in the physical world because the more you measured it, the bigger it would get. Look at conservation of matter to see why that's impossible.is it getting "bigger" or do we just have a more precise measurement when we express 3/10 as .3, we assume that the following decimal points are all 0, right but in the real world, it could be 0.30000010000000100000200001 we don't really account for small imperfections because they're not significant enough Quote If what you're stuck on is the "gets bigger" part (really?), then just look at how a repeating number works. The more you measure it (.333 vs .333333), the larger it becomes.i understand what you mean now--you were just being insanely inarticulate i believe what you're attempting to describe is called an asymptote 11067

You have to have a hunger--not just to win, but to be the best. Whether it's best on your block or best in the world. You also have to be very patient and realize that your lofty aspirations are months if not years away. You don't really seem to have a hunger for any of that--you just wanna have fun playing games, right? |
