May not be human yet but that shouldn't matter. The process of life already started and that makes it a living thing. It's already there. While something is considered alive you do your best to keep it that way unless it's in a state that requires you to put it out of misery.

TV is such a better medium, you can follow the characters you love over a longer time period and you always have something to watch. Compare "want to flip on the next episode of Breaking Bad" to "want to watch Chinatown again?"
the more you get to know someone, the more you'll just end up hating them a movie can be completed in one sitting--it's satisfying, like an ice cream sundae all the themes and messages are established and then it's done shows take a million years and you don't even really enjoy half the episodes--it's like eating potato chips there's so much useless filler and everything just feels stretched out and pointless
