I wasn't really planning on answering any further questions, but whatever. In all likelihood, I wouldn't bother. Knowing me, I probably wouldn't take my own advice anyway--especially at eight years of age. If I could somehow convince myself, though, I would tell myself to stop slacking, work hard, and develop a singular set of marketable skills. I'd have to decide whether to tell myself that it wouldn't be fun or easy--whether that bit of honesty would help or hinder my younger self's perception of his future. I'd also ask him to be nicer to his sister, and be more loving in general. Maybe give him a sports almanac and win some bets with it.

even if platinum didn't like nintendo for some reason (even though they're producing exclusive games for them) and they wanted to make it known to the world that they think the N64 is useless trash would it really matter? does it really require internet outrage and petitions to get them to apologize and change the game so as to not hurt the delicate sensibilities of nintendo fans? the free alternative is less user-friendly and has less tools and functionality than premiere the price to ameliorate these issues is $200--money i don't have; so i don't get the product oh well it's not illegal to find alternatives if you lack the funds necessary to purchase a higher-end product
