The Flood / Re: Money isn't everything.

A lot of you take me as the stereotypical rich fuck boy. And because of that a lot of you have grown to dislike me.
Quick observation here.

People don't dislike you because you're rich. People don't dislike you because you drive cars that are worth more than what an average person makes in two lifetimes.

People dislike you because most of the posts and threads you make ooze "hey guys, look at how much money I have and at all the things I can do that you can't".

While this might not be your intention, a lot of people here are in a financial rough spot and have to deal with debt, joblessness, high educational costs and work. You are obviously free to talk about whatever you want, but do realize that casually making threads about how your biggest struggles in life are not being able to park your supercars in the school parking lot or how the person selling your ferrari doesn't happen to live right next door can come across as showing off. Making these kind of things out to be extremely mundane and normal in an environment where there's people who are on the verge of being homeless or not being able to cover serious medical costs, can make you seem rather douchey and boastful.

And it's very easy for someone with that kind of money to say how it isn't *that* important. It may not be everything, but it would solve pretty much all of my problems. Even though I'm not financially in a bad spot and I'm generally quite happy with my life, having that kind of money would make me even happier.

Eh, I've seen some of their stuff on the Comedy Central ads that show up on South Park. It was so bad that it made me cringe.

Where did you get that hickey from, I wonder;

Some hispanic dude who lives across the hall
I have no idea what a hickey is so I'll just assume it's a gay thing.

Bruise on the body caused from someone nibbling/biting/sucking a part of the skin to the point that blood vessels come up.

Most of the time, the females get them.
Wow what the fuck.
How do you not know what a hickey is?
Because I'm not a creep.

Bleh stop replying to me this topic is making me feel like throwing up.
Nothing wrong with a good hickey now and then.

Get through this horrid final semester of law school and get my Master's with honors.
Have my girlfriend's college application accepted so that she can finally move over here, hopefully.
Update! Her application got accepted, so she can move over in a few months and then stay here permanently. Best news I could've hoped for. :)
Another capitalist lost to the dirty commie scum. The end is truly nye
RIP USA.

Gaming / Re: I don't like Pokemon
« on: March 02, 2015, 03:56:21 AM »
People give CoD shit for rehashing the same aspects of its predecessors, but Pokemon is literally rehashing their old games. Why do they get a free pass?

You're going to have to elaborate. Because Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are actual remakes, something I'd like to see CoD do.
Yeah so, a rehash of the same game then. That's what a remake is.
They add elements to the game that make it play completely differently. For instance, Generation 6 introduced Mega Evolutions and they completely altered the metagame. Also, ORAS added new features that the original R/S/E games did not (real-time flying, better rival).
To be fair, the exact same could be said for the CoD games.

College in the US is a little too different for me to talk about.
why do you even bother with your 10,000 page papers? you're gonna be a janitor anyway
>tfw I'm almost guaranteed a great job with a high salary due to two Master's degrees at one of the top 15 law schools in the world

Get scrubbin.
Why can't Yuta do it? He's the new mod.

Serious / Re: CA expected to pass vaccination law
« on: March 02, 2015, 03:30:52 AM »
I would express my genuine surprise that there's actually people opposing this, but this is the Flood after all.

OT: this is good.

How is forcing people to undergo an invasive procedure against their will, good? It's not up to the government to decide what you can and can not do with your body or what you put or don't put in it
Getting vaccinated is not an invasive procedure.

It becomes a good thing when the alternative is having stupid people endanger not only their own children but an entire community and every child they come in contact with by furthering the spreading of lethal but otherwise perfectly preventable diseases.
